2:24 AM IST, 9:54 PM Local Time | Warwickshire complete a comprehensive victory over Lancashire to go top of the table in their group! They do so by defeating the Men from Manchester by 36 runs!

Lancashire won the toss and elected to bowl first, and on the back of crucial partnerships in the middle order and Ed Barnard's scintillating 54 runs off 34 balls, Warwickshire were able to establish a monster total of 203/9 at the end of their 20 overs.

For Lancashire, Jack Blatherwick picked up 3/29 from his 3 overs to ensure they did as much damage control as possible after Warwickshire's middle order blew them away.

Come the chase, things turned from bad to worse as Lancashire lost two wickets to Garton in the very first over and Warwickshire never looked back after that. There was some hope as small partnerships developed between the batters but the Warwickshire bowlers did not take foot off the gas pedal.

With the batters scoring at a high rate, some excellent pieces of fielding in the deep ensured neither batter could cross the 30 run-mark until Tom Hartley came in and smashed the spinners around for a few MAXIMUMs to register 35 runs from 16 balls against his name and end up as Lancashire's top batter!

The pacers of Warwickshire combined to pick up 9 out of 10 wickets with George Garton leading the pack with 4/28 from his 3 overs and Gleeson and Hasan Ali supporting him with a couple of wickets each.

In all, Warwickshire outclassed Lancashire in all 3 departments of the game to take home the points and the W!
