Imran Tahir (Guyana Amazon Warriors Captain): "It is very special. I dreamt for a long time, last year it didn't work out for us. Thanks to the team arrangement for arranging the squad as players were featuring around the world. Batting we were struggling but we knew if 2 or 3 guys perform, we could put on a good total. As soon as the guys got an opportunity, they scored runs. Once we posted 196, was very confident given our bowling attack.
I worked very hard when I was a kid but my opportunities came late. So, I am giving my best for every game. I work hard before every game or league and am happy that it is paying off. Being captain and leading the side is not something that is easy. I want to thank the Guyanese nation. Thank you to the people in Pakistan, in South Africa. They have been wishing me.
