That's all from this coverage, folks! Guyana Amazon Warriors win by 4 wickets and 21 balls to spare, securing their spot in the summit clash. They will face the Rangpur Riders in the grand finale of GSL 2025. For now, it's me, Deepak Prakash, signing off on behalf of co-commentators Utsav Chandak, Hiren Kumar, and scorer/analyst Ashok Dayma. CHEERS!
Gudakesh Motie (Player of the match): "I think, over the past two weeks I have been working on both batting and bowling and it has worked well today.

The slower you bowl, you get more purchase on this wicket. Over the last few games, I was batting a bit fast and got the results today.

I really enjoy it. Every time it comes to batting, I really enjoy it. I put in a lot of work on my batting and it has gotten significantly better.

We missed it last time, and qualifying for the finals this time feels really good.

Just one answer. Win."
7:52 AM IST, 10:22 PM Local Time: A comfortable win for the Guyana Amazon Warriors, who bounced back strongly from early setbacks to chase down the target with 4 wickets in hand and 21 balls to spare. With this win, the Warriors have sealed their spot in the final, where they will take on the Rangpur Riders.

Earlier, after opting to bat first, the Hobart Hurricanes crumbled to 125 all out in 16.1 overs despite a few promising contributions. The innings began with a flurry of boundaries from Ben McDermott (21 off 9), but the top order collapsed early, finding themselves at 28/3 inside 3 overs.

Nikhil Chaudhary (21 off 14), Mohammad Nabi (21 off 22), and Fabian Allen (28 off 20) tried to rebuild, but regular wickets pegged the Hurricanes back. Gudakesh Motie was the standout with the ball, picking up 3/9 in his 3.1 overs. Imran Tahir chipped in with 2 wickets, while Dwaine Pretorius, Moeen Ali, and Romario Shepherd took one each. The Hurricanes failed to bat out their 20 overs and were bowled out with 23 balls still remaining.

In reply, Johnson Charles (8 off 4) came out with aggressive intent, but his stay was short-lived. The right-hander smashed a maximum but was dismissed on the very next ball, with Billy Stanlake knocking over his leg stump on the fourth delivery of the innings.

The pitch had ample assistance for the spinners, and Mohammad Nabi and Usama Mir bowled tightly to grab wickets at regular intervals and put Guyana Amazon Warriors in a spot of bother, reeling at 42/3 in the 9th over.

Shimron Hetmyer came out all guns blazing, smashing five sixes in a single over off Fabian Allen. However, his fiery cameo was brought to an end in the very next over, as Usama Mir trapped him for 39 off just 10 balls.

Moeen Ali (30* off 36) held one end with steady strike rotation, while Gudakesh Motie provided a crucial late boost with a 13-ball 19-run cameo to keep the momentum with the Guyana Amazon Warriors. Although Motie fell attempting a big shot, Romario Shepherd sealed the victory with a boundary, with 21 balls to spare.

The 32-run over from Fabian Allen turned the tide in favor of the Warriors, as the Hobart Hurricanes failed to stage a comeback and defend their total. Billy Stanlake shone with the ball for Hurricanes, claiming three wickets. Usama Mir chipped in with a couple of wickets, while Nabi contributed a solitary wicket.

16.3 B Stanlake to R Shepherd
4 Length ball, on the stumps. Romario chips it down the ground and the ball races away to the long on fence for a boundary. And this is it, the target has been chased in 16.3 overs. Guyana Amazon Warriors have made it to the finals alongside Rangpur Riders. Unfortunately, this is the end of the road for Hobart Hurricanes.
16.2 B Stanlake to R Shepherd
2 Romario tonks it. Short ball outside off stump. Romario goes for the winning shot down the ground, but doesn't connect it well, just a couple of runs.
16.2 B Stanlake to R Shepherd
WD Short ball on the pads, Romario misses and umpire calls it a wide down leg. Bowler is not happy as he believes that it hit the trousers in the way.
