That's all we have for you from this fixture. Pakistan win the series 2-0 with a game to spare. Bangladesh were never really in the game and the injury to Shoriful Islam didn't help their cause either.
Saptak, Ajay, Paras Yadav signing off. Goodbye!!!
Agha Salman (Pakistan Captain): "It feels good. I didn't know it has happened after 3.5 years. Very happy with the effort.
Yeah, this is what I want. I want 15 players ready. If anyone gets injured, there are players who can come in and replace them. It is a great headache, any captain would love that headache.
(On Hasan Nawaz) The way he is batting, not many can bat. He can hit sixes at will against spinners. He is happy to bat in the middle order now, he doesn't want to bat at the top now. I am very happy for him, he is a generational talent.
I think we will try more people. We want bench strength in bowling as well. We don't have many backup options. I want 3 pacers in the XI and 3-4 waiting in the wings if anyone gets injured.
I am enjoying it at the moment. If you have a team like that, it becomes easy. They all want to do well for the country. I hope they can continue like that and we can continue like that in the future.
It has been few days, everyone is loving the environment. Credit goes to Mike. He has come in and in short time, he has created an environment where people are coming in and enjoying. This is the kind of environment we want to create in our team."
Litton Das (Bangladesh Captain): "Yeah, I think once Shoriful got injured, the moment changed. We lack experienced bowlers. Still, we did well to restrict them to 200. Still, I back any day to chase that. As a batting unit, we didn't do any good.
I mean, whoever bat well, you have to continue. You have to bat at least for 13-14 overs. We didn't bat well after four overs. Back-to-back wickets cost us.
Not really, but in cricket, you have to do the basics right. We are not doing that right. I am not blaming anyone but we need to focus on that.
We have one more chance, we have to sit and talk on how we can comeback well. It is all about mindset."
Sahibzada Farhan (POTM): "It is a very emotional moment for me. Making my comeback in the national team and to get my first POTM for Pakistan, I am very happy.
I think most of the boxes I ticked. The way I played domestically before the franchise cricket, it taught me that you have play at a certain level to succeed at the international level. I will look to improve on myself and work even harder after this.
I think I am not afraid now. This is my 3rd of 4th comeback. Every year I make loads of runs in domestic to come back into the national team. Today, I guess you guys also saw that I don't fear failure now.
I tried to do what I did in franchise cricket. I was confident and knew that if I get a chance I will show people what I am capable of."
Player of the Match: Sahibzada Farhan
Time for the post-match presentation...
11:09 PM Local Time: Pakistan make light work of Bangladesh and seal the series with another emphatic win in Lahore. The hosts win this contest by 57 runs and take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series. Batters set it up once again by scoring over 200 runs and the spinners ran through the middle order to finish the game in 19 overs of the second innings. This is Pakistan's first T20I series win after 3 and a half years.
Earlier in the game, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat first. Saim Ayub was run-out early in the piece but Sahibzada Farhan, who replaced injured Fakhar Zaman in the line-up, smoked 74 runs off 41.
Mohammad Haris made 41 off 25 while Hasan Nawaz scored an unbeaten half-century to take Pakistan past 200 runs.
In reply, Tanzid Hasan Tamim and Mehidy Hasan Miraz were the only one from the top-order who got to double figures.
Tanzim Hasan Sakib swung his bat down the order and scored a fifty but apart from that none of the batters got going as Bangladesh were bowled out for 144 in 19 overs.
Abrar Ahmed stood out with the ball, taking three for 19 from his four overs. Faheem Ashraf, Shadab Khan, Saim Ayub, Hasan Ali, Khushdil Shah and Haris Rauf all bagged one wicket apiece.
Shoriful Islam, who hobbled off the field without completing his quota of four overs, did not walk out to bat as Bangladesh's innings ended on 144/9.
