7:11 PM IST, Local Time: That's it. What a thrilling contest we have just witnessed in Tirunelveli. Varun Chakaravarthy wins the game for the Dindigul Dragons on the final ball of the match. The Dragons beat Salem Spartans by two wickets to get back to winning ways. Incredible scenes here as the Dindigul players storm onto the field to hug Varun who has done it for them.

Baba Indrajith got run out on four on the final ball of the powerplay as the scoreboard read 70/2 after six overs. Maan K Bafna departed cheaply on three.
Shivam (34) and R K Jayant (25) looked good at the crease but failed to convert their starts into big scores. R Vimal Khumar (24) and Hunny Saini (35) kept their side in the hunt but fell at the wrong time. M Karthik Saran departed on 12 in the final over. The equation went down to 8 from 2 and M Poiyamozhi bowled a no ball. Varun Chakaravarthy hit a six to bring the equation down to one from one. He hit a four on the final ball to win it for the Dragons.

Sunny Sandhu played a decent cameo of 14-ball 25 before falling in the 11th over. Rajendran Vivek joined Rajagopal and changed the complexion of the innings.
Rajagopal and Vivek played aggressively and continued their onslaught. Both Rajagopal (74 off 47) and Vivek (35 off 20) put a sensational stand of 80 for the fifth wicket which powered the Spartans to 188/7 at the end of their innings. Ravichandran Ashwin (3/22) bowled beautifully for the Dragons but the others went on a journey.

4 FOUR!!! Varun Chakaravarthy wins it for Dindigul Dragons. What a finish. Dindigul Dragons win a thriller of a contest on the final ball of the innings. Poiyamozhi bowls it full outside off, Varun manages to get under it and lofts it nicely over mid off to send it to the fence for four runs.
Ashwin asks Chandrasekar to remove his pads so that he can run faster. He sends the 12th man who runs in and brings the pads of Chandrasekar. The fourth umpire is not happy and has an animated chat with Ashwin.
