And this is it, the finals of the Maharashtra Premier League match between Raigad Royals and Eagle Nashik Titans has come to an end. Prashant Solanki, captain of Eagle Nashik Titans, won the toss and invited Raigad Royals to bat first. Mukesh Choudhary took a wicket of the first ball, but that was followed by a 111 run partnership between Harsh Mogaveera and Siddhesh Veer. This was followed by a quick fire knock from Niraj Joshi. Siddhesh Veer batter till the end and scoring a scintillating 99, taking his team to a score of 190.
While chasing 191, the Titans batters were off to a good start. Mandar Bhandari and Arshin Kulkarni took off in the powerplay, but after the wicket of Mandar, the game slightly tilted towards the Royals as wicket kept tumbling from one end. Arshin Kulkarni held his ground and scored 77 runs. The game was tilting towards the royals but Ranjit Nikam and Atharva Kale, finished the game off in style to win the championship.
Eagle Nashik Titans won the match and the finals, they were the runner ups in the previous season but this time they have gone all the way. For Raigad Royals, they have no one else but themselves to blame.
