The bowlers have been giving it their all — even in the last game, they put up a tough fight while defending just 150 runs. Earlier, Puneri Bappa got off to a solid start after being invited to bat first, as openers Yash Nahar (24) and Murtaza Trunkwala (29) added 50 runs for the opening wicket. However, they suffered a sudden collapse, losing three wickets in quick succession, with Tanay Sanghvi picking up two of them.
Yash Kshirsagar held his ground at one end but kept losing partners at regular intervals, as Vicky Ostwal wreaked havoc with the ball, claiming 4 wickets in his 4-over spell. The skipper remained unbeaten till the end and delivered a valuable 42 runs, helping his side cross the 140-run mark.
Vicky Ostwal starred for Raigad Royals with his impressive figures of 4/17. Tanay Sanghvi bagged a couple of wickets, while Nikhil Kadam and Hitesh Walunj celebrated a solitary wicket.
