10:23 PM IST | The rain god has the final say on this encounter. The match has been abandoned due to the persistent rain for over one and a half hours.
Coming to bat first after losing the toss, Puneri Bappa got off to a sedate start as Yash Nahar and Murtuza Trunkwala got a few runs off boundaries but those were at very irregular intervals. Nahar got out for 13 and Sahil Autade's dismissal added more plight to the Puneri Bappa innings.
A partnership happened between Murtuza Trunkwala and Rushikesh Sonavne. Sonavne was the first to take the aggressive route. He hit 3 maximums to score 28 off 17 balls. Murtuza Trunkwala chipped in later. He found boundaries at the later stages. He was unbeaten on 73 off 55 balls with 4 boundaries and 5 sixes.
Deepak Dangi took a couple of wickets giving just 26 away from his 4 overs. Atman Pore chipped in with one wicket.
Rain came in when Puneri Bappa were 129/3 after 16 overs and as it continued to pelt down, umpires decided to call the game off.

The pitch is on the slower side from the looks of it, and the batters have batted accordingly. Though, the downpour might settle the pitch and make it suitable for the batters.
