Rohan Damle (Player of the Match): "Well the plan was to keep it simple all along. The situation was tricky. Balls were coming nicely on to the bat and I decided to bat as per the merit of the ball.
It was crucial to restrict them within 150. The bowlers did really well in the middle overs. Then we did well in the batting. It is a complete team effort."

The sixth wicket partnership did change the game. Both of them are very responsible batters and we were very happy in the auctions itself to get Rohan bhai into our team. He brings in a lot of experience. The number of games that he has played on this ground is a lot and the way he batted and the way he got the game for us, shows his caliber and how happy we are.
Like I said, take one game at a time, be in the present and enjoy playing the game."

In bowling, some of our bowlers had a bad day in the office. A couple of catches here and there and we could've been on the other side of the game."

Yash Kshirsagar played a captain's knock of 34 runs from 27 balls with 3 sixes. Suraj Shinde played a good knock of 26 runs from 18 balls with 1 four and 2 sixes. Naushad Shaikh- the experienced man pulled off his groin but came back in the last over to add 2 more runs to his tally and remained unbeaten on 20 off 16. Together they took the score to 149/7.
Mukesh Choudhary and Manoj Ingale took a couple of wickets each. Yogesh Dongare, Prashant Solanki and Akshay Waikar took a wicket each.
Eagle Nashik Titans received an early jolt in the run chase losing in-form Mandar Bhandari in the first ball. But Sahil Parikh hit a few boundaries to not let the pressure fall on his team. He departed cheaply for 18 and the other opener Arshin Kulkarni got out for 4. The Titans experienced more trouble losing Atharva Kale and Kaushal Tambe and eventually got reduced to 79/5.
When 71 runs were required off the last 49 balls, Rohan Damle and Ranjit Nikam chipped in. Nikam played the second fiddle in the partnership and Damle was the aggressor. Puneri Bappa fielders dropped the latter's catch a couple of times and that's where the blunder was made. Damle remained unbeaten on 80 off 49 balls with 9 fours and 2 maximums. Ranjit Nikam remained unbeaten on 26 off 25 balls and they together pulled the chase off.
