So, we have one team confirm its position in the top two. Punjab Kings will play Qualifier 1, while Mumbai Indians will play in the Eliminator. Tomorrow we have the final league match of the season, with LSG hosting RCB in Lucknow. RCB have a simple equation of winning and facing PBKS in the first Qualifier. A loss will see them facing Mumbai Indians in the elimination round.

That is all from us for tonight. I am AkshayaKrishna Polya signing off on behalf of my co-commentators, Ninaad Dixit and Pritam Dey, scorers/analysts, Paras Yadav and Manish Bishnoi, and statistician, Aman, who brought you all the live-action of this blockbuster. We will meet again. Until then, it is cheers!
Fun Fact: Mumbai Indians have never won an IPL title after finishing third or fourth on the points table. All of their eight wins this season have come against teams that haven't made it into the playoffs.
Josh Inglis (Player of the Match): "I think the left-right partnership really helped over there especially with the short boundary. Both of us were trying exactly that. We were also playing smart cricket, picking our bowlers and also it's match-ups. We just didn't want to give it away in that middle period and let them in. At the end, we got the win and that's what it matters.

I have faced Mitch (Santner) many times. He is a very smart bowler and he knows what I will try to do as well. We know each other really well. Obviously with the short boundary on the leg side, I just wanted to have a crack and it worked out really well tonight. But he is a fantastic bowler.

(On Priyansh Arya) I don't think I had to say much to him. He is such a talented player. We have seen what he has done in this tournament already. He plays smart cricket at times. He picks the right balls and plays the right shots. He is unbelievable.

(On Shreyas giving him the opportunity to bat at Number 3) I don't think he is happy about that but I am very happy (chuckles). I struggled for a bit of rhythm earlier in the tournament. I wanted to bat in the powerplay and build an innings, so he asked me to bat at 3.

I don't run that quick. It's the beauty of being my size. I have got to run hard, pick gaps and build an innings for my team. That's my style."
Player of the Match: Josh Inglis
Shreyas Iyer (Punjab Kings Captain): "I personally feel that every single individual has stepped up for us at the right time. Starting from game one, we have been in that mindset that we have to win no matter what the situation. We have had players putting their hands up when we were in the dumps. Kudos to everyone for the contribution.

Obviously, Ricky has been fantastic with player management. It is important for me to get trust, too. It was about gaining the trust of every individual. And that happened by winning matches, and I personally feel we need to maintain that relationship throughout. I had conversations with them, too. I feel the dressing room has been top-notch throughout. When you are down in the dumps, it is easy to backstab each other.

The way Priyansh Arya started was fabulous. The young players are fearless. It was pleasing to the eye, and every individual was fearless. They tick the boxes in the next session, and the preparation in the nets is now showing on the field.

Josh Inglis loves playing the new ball, and we wanted him to play more deliveries. He is the only player whose position has been chopping and changing regularly. So, we wanted him to play up the order. And I know he can be destructive. He is a big match player. He has a great attitude. I hope he continues the same way.

The camaraderie has been there for the past few years between Ricky and me. He gives me a lot of freedom. I have told him to make all the plans and also told him that I am going to execute them on the field. He lets me be decisive on the field, and all these things have culminated in a great way. Ecstatic that everything is working for us."
