That marks the end of our coverage from the second T20I of the three-match series. Bangladesh have made a solid comeback and have squared up the series 1-1. The caravan now moves to Colombo for the third and final T20I of the series, which is eventually the decider. Do join us for the coverage of that match on Wednesday.
For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Deepak Prakash and the scorer/analyst of this game Paras Yadav. Good night.

Litton Das (Bangladesh Captain and Player of the Match):"Definitely I'm happy. I tried to play good cricket since the last couple of matches but it didn't happen. I believe in myself. Credit goes to Shamim. Together we put the runs on board.
It was a good pitch to bat on. We needed to take time because there was a bit of unpredictable bounce. We took time for 10-15 balls and then played shots.
Rishad is a big positive factor for Bangladesh. Don't forget Kusal (Mendis) was a good wicket. Shamim did a good job to do that run out. Shoriful's comeback was a good thing too."

Charith Asalanka (Sri Lanka Captain):"We did some mistakes in batting and in fielding as well. Because of bad batting and bad fielding it is. We did good in patches but missed the crucial moments.
The stumping miss was not ideal but it happens. I think these are a part of game. I hope that we will make a strong comeback."
Time for the post-match presentations.
This 83-run defeat is Sri Lankaβs biggest loss against Bangladesh in T20Is in terms of runs.
