So that's it from our side, this is Utsav Chandak and my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal signing off. A big thanks to the scorer, Chandan Kumar Singh, as we wrap the coverage for this fixture. Stay Tuned as lots of cricketing action is coming your way.
Yash Nahar (Player of the Match):"Yes, he is my idol(KL Rahul), the way he bats, and I thought that this inning should be done like that itself, as the pitch wasn't coming nicely onto the bat, and the ball was gripping a lot. My process was to play till the end, and it happened very nicely.
There were no preparations but it was a good game, and I needed this game for my personal goals also, and I felt very good for that."
Yash Kshirsagar (Puneri Bappa Captain):"It was an amazing innings from Yash (Yash Nahar). The way he played, Rushikesh played and the finishing touch was given was great. The bowlers also did well and it was an all square game for us.
We have ten matches in the league and I hope every single one chips in for us in every game. The team is in a good rhythm."
Time for the post-match presentations.
Rushabh Rathod (Raigad Royals Captain):"Well if you see, its not just the batting which underperformed, Fielding, bowling, batting collapse, all three together. We never clicked in any of the departments and that's why, when you are chasing 203, you need a couple of partnerships going your way, and especially in the powerplay where we lost 3-4 wickets, and the game was far gone, it was all about getting as close as possible, which could help in the future games. But yeah, my mind is a little bitter, but we must accept that. In all the three areas we could've done better, to place it better.
Absolutely! tomorrow is another sunrise. In cricket, every day is a new day, its just about how fast can you learn, how fast can you analyze, how fast can you embrace what the reality is, and then tomorrow is another day. It's going to be a new start.
Just as i spoke earlier, its about the partnerships, the small partnerships, that worked wonders, so when your finishers come in the last 5 overs, they can just blow it up really. That's what they did, they made a brilliant partnership till the 15th over and then Suraj finished it pretty well."
