That's it from this encounter. Bangladesh led the two-match series 1-0. This is Arijit Kundu signing off, along with co-commentator Deepak Prakash and scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Adios Folks!
Litton Das (BAN captain): "It looked good afternoon out bat. The way Emon played it was really great. But we have to finish games well, which we didn't do. I know that my bowlers can make a comeback anytime. I know my bowlers' strengths. We have to work on our middle order and focus on our bowling as well. Everyone, the calmness in general. In the middle, it looked like it was a fifty-fifty chance, but glad that our bowlers pulled it off. Definitely, the supporters have been brilliant and always been with us. Thank you."
Muhammad Waseem (UAE Captain): "We were in control of the game, but losing wickets in the middle overs cost us. They bowled well in the final phase, and we ended up giving away 20–25 extra runs. Emon played a good innings. We gave it our best, especially since we were familiar with the conditions. I'm pleased with the performance of the youngsters and hopeful they'll continue to do well."
Parvez Hossain Emon (POTM): "Oviously special for me, I got a century so it was special one for me. Just assessing the wicket and trying to stay on my process and I stick on my plan. Oviously, I tried my best."
Player of the Match: Parvez Hossain Emon
10:43 PM Local Time and 12:13 AM IST: Litton Das's reign as Bangladesh's T20I skipper starts of with a crest. Bangladesh ensured their 100% T20I winning rate against UAE with 27 runs victory.

Chasing a 192-run total, UAE got off to a moderate start with 52 runs inside the powerplay for the loss of a couple of wickets. Muhammad Waseem looked attacking with the bat as Rahul Chopra tried to pair him for the third wicket. The pair orchestrated a 62-run partnership as they found many boundaries to counterpunch the opponents. At one point, the visitors seemed to be slipping away in the game before the plot to bring Tanzim Hasan Sakib in the middle overs phase paid dividends.

After playing a captain's knock and belting a fine fifty, Waseem fell prey to the slingy bowler in the twelfth over. Rahul Chopra followed suit in Sakib's next over. When the ball seemed to be tilting towards the visitors' court, Asif Khan's belligerent ball striking, highlighted by a hat-trick of sixes, kept UAE in the battle. However, he fell short of partners as the hosts lost four wickets between the 14th and 19th over, reducing the equation to 34 needed off the last six balls. Eventually, they were folded for 164 on the final ball of the encounter. Hasan Mahmud was the pick of the bowlers with a three-fer, but Sakib and Mustafizur Rahman were equally brilliant with their respective couple of wickets.

Earlier in the game, Bangladesh initiated a gung-ho approach despite losing a couple of wickets inside the powerplay. Resuming from 55/2 with the field spread out, Parvez Hossain Emon tore apart the opposition bowling with his disdainful striking ability. Although he felt short of partners throughout the innings, Emon converted his fifty into a maiden T20I century before being cleaned up in the final over. He scored 100 off 54 balls, with the next being Towhid Hridoy's 20 off 15, setting up Bangladesh's 191/7.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentation.
