Alyssa Healy gets a fairytale ending to her limited-overs international career. Australia Women have taken an unassailable 8-4 lead in the multi-format series and will be riding with confidence. India Women need to get back to the drawing board quickly before the one-off Day-Night Test, which starts at the WACA on Friday (March 6). Do join us for that.

It's time for us to take your leave. This is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Pritam Dey, scorer Ashok Dayma and statistician Aman. Until next time, cheers and good bye.

Harmanpreet Kaur (India Women Captain): "[Reflections on the ODI series] I think overall, we didn’t play good cricket. In T20s, we were doing all the things right. In ODIs, we didn’t do those things and it cost us.

[Learnings from the ODI series] I think ODI is something, it’s a long game. You have to keep doing the right things again and again. We made some mistakes. Credit to the Australian team for the way they played. They didn’t give us the chance. It gives us a chance to see what we have to do to do well in ODI cricket.

[Preparations ahead of the WACA Test] Keeping everybody in a good space of mind. It’s only about believing in yourselves and doing the right things for the team."
Alyssa Healy (Player of the Match & Australia Women Captain): "[What she enjoyed the most - scoring 158 or bowling] Bowling for sure. It didn’t take much long to take the chance.

[Reflections on tonight's match] Just finish the leg with the way we did, it was really proud. And we are looking forward to the Test match. I have hated every milestone match. It was an opportunity for me to go out there and enjoy. Thanks to the girls. It was a nice way to sign off.

[On Voll and Mooney's knocks] When you are standing at the other end and Georgia Voll was going so well, I thought it took me a lot of time to get going. Beth as well, doing what she does best. The future is bright for us. With the World cup, they are going to do some fantastic things yet again.

[Emotions while presenting maiden cap to Hamilton] Honestly, I was fine this morning. When I was writing it down, I felt how special it is to make your debut. She has got a bright future ahead of us. To get the cap, it is pretty special.

[On the WACA Test] To put ourselves in a position where we don’t have to win, it is good. We will obviously go for the win. We have never experienced pink ball Test in WACA. I’m looking forward to seeing what conditions will be there."

4:27 PM IST, 9:57 PM Local Time: That’s it. Australia Women give their skipper Alyssa Healy a perfect farewell from ODIs. Healy bows out from ODIs with a win and a hundred to her name in her final outing. The Southern Stars beat India Women comprehensively by 185 runs to go 8-4 up in the multi-format series. The Women in Blue have been completely outplayed today in all facets of the game.

It was always going to be a daunting task to chase 410. India Women lost Smriti Mandhana (0) and good-looking Pratika Rawal (27) inside the powerplay. Jemimah Rodrigues at three looked solid for her 42 before falling in the 11th over. Harleen Deol (14) along with skipper Harmanpreet Kaur (25) tried to resurrect the innings but both were dismissed in a quick succession.

The Indian batters felt the pressure of the required run rate and succumbed to it. Richa Ghosh (18) and Kashvee Gautam (0) were sent packing in the 24th over. Deepti Sharma (29) and Sneh Rana (44) showed some resistance with a 63-run stand for the eighth wicket but the hosts did well to knock over India Women on 224 in 45.1 overs to win the game by 185 runs.

For Australia, Alana King was the standout bowler, picking up four wickets and giving away only 33 runs in her 10 overs. Georgia Wareham picked up (2/3) picked up the final two scalps to put an end to this contest and give her skipper a perfect farewell.

Earlier, Australia Women were asked to bat first. They lost Phoebe Litchfield (14) cheaply in the sixth over. Skipper Alyssa Healy along with Georgia Voll put a solid 104-run stand for the second wicket, keeping the Women in Blue at bay. Voll scored a 52-ball 62 before holing out in the deep.

Beth Mooney at four got off to a scratchy start. Healy, at the other end, displayed a batting masterclass and brought up her hundred in 79 balls in her final ODI appearance. She went on beast mode post that and scored her next 50 runs in just 16 balls, bringing up 150 in 95 balls.

Healy hit 27 fours and two maximums before getting cleaned up on 98-ball 158 in the 37th over. Mooney held the innings nicely from one end despite a mini-collapse. She teed off in the death overs and brought up a magnificent ton off 82 balls.

Mooney and Nicola Carey remained unbeaten on 106 (84) and 34 (15) respectively as both powered the Southern Stars to 409/7, their second-highest ODI total. Each of the five Indian bowlers entered the wickets column, with Shree Charani (2/106) and Sneh Rana (2/66) grabbing two each. It was too much to do for their batters as they fell short by 185 runs.
