This is it from the fixture between San Francisco Unicorns & MI New York - The Eliminator of Major League Cricket 2025! This is Utsav Chandak, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator AkshayaKrishna Polya and the scorer/analyst of the fixture Dushyant Madhukar Kumar. Stay tuned for more cricketing action on CREX!
Nicholas Pooran (MI New York Captain): "That is why we love this game. That is why we love this sport, for days like these. Exceptional bowling performance. That was the best we have bowled in the tournament.

Credit must be given to Bartlett. He took his chances and it worked for him. He gave them a chance in this game.

Our bowlers were fantastic. We executed our plans as a bowling group. The way Boult and Nosthush started in the powerplay, and then we continued with the momentum with Ugarkar, Luus, and all chipping in. Everyone put their hands up in a big match for us.

It was a different challenge for us. Obviously, different conditions on different grounds. In Miami, there was help for the spinners, it was slow as well; and here in Dallas, it is a good cricketing venue, and the wind is also a factor here. We have played a lot of games here and can understand the dimensions and the wind factor as well. For us, it is about how we execute things.

We know that the rain was around. We didn't want to be reckless and lose a couple of wickets. You never know. With DLS, it becomes a bit tricky. The way Quinton and Monank went about their business is exactly how we wanted. It is a shame that we didn't continue from the start we got. That is a bit of a cautious area now, but the game is never really over.

They bowled and fielded well as a unit. They kept themselves in the game. Incredible effort. We are lucky as well.

The game was never over. We know that. Don't take anything for granted. Everyone is counted in this game. We need to have a self-reflection of individuals as well. We now know what to do in a situation like this.

I still believe that we are making progress, heading in the right direction. You need victories like these and team performances like this.

Really good win in the Eliminator. Thanks to Boult. He brought his bowling experience and also his batting. It was wonderful to see."
Trent Boult (MVP): "I didn't think that you were going to say that. New role tonight. Great game. Fresh wicket. Obviously, with the weather around, the ground had a couple of days' break.

We would have taken bowling them out for 130 every day of the week. It is nice to experience different wickets in this country, but as a bowler, the challenge is always to take wickets. I try to learn and find other ways if the ball is not swinging.
Always try to learn. Some days it takes a bit longer to learn.

It was a cracker of a game. It is a beauty of it. Nope, but that was the position I was in, but nice to win it. Everyone jokes about my batting. I have never hit a winning run. Sort of disappointed that I missed out again tonight, but happy to contribute to the win."
Most Valuable Player: Trent Boult
Play of the Day: Nosthush Kenjige
Power Hitter of the Match: Monank Patel
Matthew Short (San Francisco Unicorns Captain): "Yeah, obviously not good enough from the top order. They bowled well. Credit to our middle order and tail. They kept us in the game.

Really wet conditions after that downpour. Credit to the curators. You can see how wet it was. When we got into the field, it was still drizzling. There was no chance of a dry outfield.

Credit to the bowlers as well, they stuck through it and kept us in the game. You could have seen how wet the ball was; it was always tough on the bowlers, but they all fought hard.

We missed a couple of key players due to injuries. Massive losses for us. Class performers - Haris Rauf, Finn Allen and Romario Shepherd. The depth in our locals, though, has been brilliant; it's about keeping the group together now and moving forward.

It's a sort of season of two halves. We were off to a flyer. Unfortunately, it hasn't been our year. We will come back hard next year."
