8:15 AM IST and 9:45 PM Local Time: The match has been abandoned! Unfortunately, due to heavy rain, the ground staff would not have been able to prepare the ground for play tonight. The outfield has been hit with a lot of hammering, and there is a continuous burst of lightning at Grand Prairie Stadium, which makes it unsafe for the players and everyone else to be present.
Washington Freedom have marched directly to the final for the second time in as many seasons, as they finished top on the points table in the league phase. On the other hand, Texas Super Kings will have to play in the Challenger as they finished second on the points table in order to have a chance of making their first-ever MLC final.

8:02 AM IST and 9:32 PM Local Time: There is some good news, folks! The rain has eased. Still, no one is in the outfield as of now because of lightning.
7:34 AM IST and 9:04 PM Local Time: Unfortunately, the rain hasn't stopped yet. The crowd has just moved from the shelter as the intensity of the storm has slightly decreased. The drainage is excellent at this venue, but still it will be a massive task for the groundsmen to get this outfield ready to play once the rain completely stops.

The cut-off time for a five-over-per-side game is 10:26 PM Local Time, that is 8:56 AM IST. If we don't manage to get a five-over-per-side game, then we will have a one-over shootout, which basically means super over, with its cut-off time being 11:20 PM Local Time, and 9:50 AM IST.
If we don't have any chance of a game, then Washington Freedom will go directly through to the final on the basis of their top position on the points table and Texas Super Kings will have to play in the Challenger.

As we know, we have a 60-minute buffer time before losing overs. We are just 15 minutes away from that time. These were the timelines during the league phase. Not sure if there is any changes in it.
