Matthew Short(San Francisco Unicorns Captain & MVP): "It was a bit of a grind out there. The wicket is really tacky. The groundsmen has done a really good job. Couple of partnerships in the middle really helped and got us to a really good total in the end.
After the start, the way the wicket was reacting, I think anything above 130 would have been good. The wicket hardened up a little bit in the second half. Credit to our bowlers, they did a really good job. They took lessons from the last game and executed them well.
Yeah we know how dangerous Romario can be. We probably didn't bowl to the conditions in the last match, we went back to plan a lot better tonight.
Very happy, we have come off two losses in a row, which were winnable matches to be fair. So yeah, nice to get the momentum back and hopefully move to the finals."
Most Valuable Player of the Match: Matthew Short
Play of the Day: Akeal Hosein
Power Hitter of the Day: Donovan Ferreira
Time for the post-match presentation...
Faf du Plessis (Texas Super Kings Captain): "Yeah, I thought the guys bowled really well. It was tough to bat in the first six, they batted well after that but it was a good score.
It is the nature of the wicket. You keep wickets in the hand early on. Then it gets easier, we did that well. Probably as a batting unit, we feel like we should have got over the line from the position where we were in the game.
We have another crack tomorrow against the Orcas. We will keep our eyes on this game and come back again tomorrow."
