Milestone
India continue to maintain their domination Down Under in the shortest format. They take an unbeatable 2-1 lead in the five-match series, and the series decider will take place at the Gabba, Brisbane, on Saturday.

On the other hand, Australia haven't lost a bilateral T20I series since losing 1-4 to India in 2023. They have a chance to draw the series in Brisbane now.

For now, this is me, AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator, Ajay Pal Singh, scorer Ghanendra Singh Thakur and statistician Aman. We will meet again. Until then, it's cheers!

Suryakumar Yadav (India Captain): "I feel credit goes to all the batters. The way Shubman and Abhishek started, they realised that it was not a normal wicket where you could get 200-220. Very smart batting by both of them and then everyone chipped in. I think, it was a complete team effort from the batters.

(On another all-round bowling effort) Yeah, I mean, the message is quite clear from me and Gauti bhai. He was also telling to say the same thing I wanted to say. There was a bit of dew but they adapted very well.

(On bowling Sundar despite Dube getting 2 wickets) I think it is always good to have 2-3 bowlers who can chip in. I think this combination suits us well. They are giving us what we are asking of them. Really excited for the final game of the series."
Mitchell Marsh (Australia Captain): "Yeah, I thought walking off the ground. 168 was probably a par score on that wicket. Provided a few challenges with the bat, I think you need a couple of partnerships in and we just weren't able to quite get that big one to get momentum. Fair play to India, they are a world class unit and certainly in conditions like that.

I think it is great, in an ideal world, you have your full-strength team for every game of the year. But some of the boys got a pretty big series coming up. And we also love giving guys chances with World Cup coming up. The more opportunities guys get with such pressure is great.

(Asked whether this is the squad for the final game and no more changes because of Ashes). Not that I am aware of, Gilly (chuckles)."

Axar Patel (POTM): "Yeah, I had a chance when I got to bat at number 7. I looked at the wicket, and spoke to the batters. The message was that the pitch is offering unexpected bounce and it is on the slower side. I just held my position and hit.

I think where team needs me, that's my favoured position. I don't think number 6 or 7 is my favoured position. Whatever my teams needs me to, I just go and do that.

I was thinking what is the batter's strength. If they are trying to hit me, I can bowl good length and if they are sweeping me, I can bowl a bit full. I was going at the stumps at all times. This worked for me today."
