Mitchell Marsh (Australia Captain): [Learnings for the team] "We've seen Rohit and Virat do that for the last 10 years to a lot of teams. A good experience for our young guys and India were just too good today.

We needed another partnership towards the back end there but again awesome learning for the young guys that were in the team today. India are too good with the bat.

Guys like Renshaw, Short got the job done in the first 2 games. We can be really proud of them as a team as we keep moving forward."
Shubman Gill (India Captain): "Yes, definitely! We almost had the near-perfect game for us. They got off to a good start, but I think the way we pulled things back in the middle overs and the way we went about the run chase were pretty pleasing to see.

(On pulling things back with the ball and Harshit Rana) Yes, definitely. It was pleasing to see how our spinners contained them in the middle overs, and then the fast bowlers came in and took those crucial wickets in the middle overs. Harshit has been someone who has been coming in and bowling fast in the middle overs. In wickets like these, you need someone like him.

(On Rohit & Kohli) I mean, they have been doing it for so many years. It is such a delight to watch both of them bat, and especially when both finish the matches.

(On his maiden ODI win) Special feeling. A good win at a special venue."
Rohit Sharma (Player of the Match and Series): "It's not going to be easy in Australia. The bowlers are quality. You have to understand the conditions and situation and see what you can do. Whenever I had the opportunity in the middle, I tried that. Haven't played for a long time but I had good prep before coming in here, was slightly confident in my head about how I wanted to go in this series. We couldn't win the series but we will take a lot of positives. Lot of guys haven't been to Australia. I am sure there will be a lot of learning for these guys.

When I came for the first time in the squad I remember how the seniors around me were there to help us. It's our job now to make sure that we pass on the right message. Never easy traveling abroad and playing cricket. Whatever little experience that we got, it's important to pass on that message and make sure they handle it pretty well. The guys are pretty talented, it's just about understanding how they want to play. When you come to places like these, you need to go back to the basics and that is something I need to pass on to these guys.

[on his average in Australia] I have very decent memories of playing in Sydney. That is what I expected. I never thought it will be easy. I love doing what I do and I hope I continue to do that."
