So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj, my co-commentator, Saptak Sanyal and our scorer, Raju Khariya as we wrap up the coverage of this fixture. Do stay tuned to our network with a lot more cricketing action coming later today.
David Wiese (St Lucia Kings Captain):"Ya a great performance. I think the bowlers have assessed the conditions really well. It was good to win the toss. Good team performance from the boys.
The key to our success is that the guys are enjoying their game and got the complete freedom. They chased the total in free mind. A few senior guys have helped me a lot. Roston Chase has been brilliant.
Thanks goes to the crowd. We got an amazing support and good to qualify for play-off. Now we will push ourselves to finish in the top two spots."
Nicholas Pooran (Trinbago Knight Riders Captain): "We were very happy to come here and win 4 games. The fans came and supported us. Unfortunately, we couldn't win today but happy for the fans. Really happy that we put a smile on their faces.
We played 5 games in a short space of time, mentally and physically, it has taken a lot out of the guys. I have to appreciate them for giving it their best. Can't control the result. We know where we fell short tonight and will have a chat about it."
Tabraiz Shamsi (Player of the Match):"That's true that Polly is a legend of the game. I took Darren (Sammy) that I will take the responsibility and try to get him out. You know he has been destructive in the death overs.
Tim Seifert was pumping me up in the change room. Said that you can't be silent, you have to bring out the celebration. First one was the magic trick, second one was the phone call and third one was to run to Sammy and say that I told you.
[The tactics against Russell and Pollard] I can't discuss that now. Because we might have to play them again in this season."
Player of the Match: Tabraiz Shamsi

07:21 AM IST, 09:51 PM Local Time: What a stunning performance from the Saint Lucia Kings as they register a seven-wicket win with 53 balls to spare against the star-studded Trinbago Knight Riders on their own turf. With this victory, the Kings also confirm their spot in the play-offs.
The match was set-up for the Kings by their bowling unit with Khary Pierre dismissing the duo of Colin Munro and Darren Bravo within the first three overs. Alex Hales also departed off the final ball off the Powerplay as Roston Chase castled him to leave the TKR at 40/3. TKR promoted Akeal Hosein to No.5 but the move didn't work as Tabraiz Shamsi bowled him with a googly.
A few overs later, Chase struck again on the last ball of his spell with the Kings taking a fine review to have Nicholas Pooran caught-behind. The wickets continued to fall with Shamsi bowling both Andre Russell and Kieron Pollard with the conventional leg-break. Delano Potgieter also got amongst the wickets by removing the duo of Terrance Hinds and Sunil Narine. The young, Nathan Edward hung around for a while to take TKR above 100 but he eventually chipped a length delivery from Alzarri Joseph to mid-off where David Wiese took the catch to bowl out TKR for 109.
In reply, Tim Seifert attacked from the word go as he took 14 runs off the first over bowled by Akeal Hosein. Seifert also attacked Sunil Narine even though the latter finished the second over with the scalp of Johnson Charles. After a couple of quiet overs, the Kings managed to take 13 runs off the fifth over bowled by Akeal. The match was then almost sealed in the final over of the Powerplay as the Kings got to 66/1 with a 20-run over from Andre Russell removing any hope for TKR.
Usman Tariq and Narine got Seifert and Ackeem Auguste in back-to-back overs but Roston Chase played the spinners beautifully to bring in boundaries at regular intervals. Soon, Tim David also joined in and finally finished off the match with a maximum off Tariq's bowling as the Kings got home with 53 balls to spare.
