So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj, my co-commentator, Ajay Pal Singh and our scorer, Raju Khariya as we wrap up the coverage of this fixture. Do stay tuned to our network with a lot more matches coming later in the day.
David Wiese (St Lucia Kings Captain): "Yeah, that was a good one. I spoke earlier at the toss about putting in a complete team performance. I thought we covered all the basis, still a bit of room for improvement but it was a good performance from us tonight.

Yeah, I think it is about match-ups and conditions. I would love to bring him (Roston Chase) early, but it just didn't seem to work out. Every time I have given him the ball, he has always delivered.

Yeah, definitely. The first game, he struggled but since then he has come back nicely. He has bowled from the tough end with the wind and got us crucial wickets tonight.

It is always nice when you spread the workload a bit. Still a long way to go, good signs for us and hopefully, the bowlers can also start getting their plans right and we can start putting on the complete performances again.

If you look at him, he (Gaston) has gone better with every game. He is nailing his yorkers. For him, it is about having a clear mind and a clear plan and execute it with the best of his ability. We saw tonight, he nailed the yorkers towards the back end.

The crowd has been awesome. Gives us just that little bit of impetus. We look forward to send them with another win."
Jason Holder (St Kitts & Nevis Patriots Captain): "We were a little short today. I thought we need in excess of 200 at the toss. Yeah, we got a little bit stuck in the middle. We never really had any momentum. We were behind even in the Powerplay. (What he said to the team during the innings break) There is only one thing to say. Runs are on the board and it is all about our attitude after that.

(Whether the bowlers didn't execute or the opposition were just too good) A bit of both, credit must be given to them. Johnson Charles and Tim Seifert took the game away from us in the Powerplay on a pretty decent batting strip. Very disappointed but we still have 3 games left. You never know what can happen in cricket. We need to come out and play our best."
Tabraiz Shamsi (POTM): "Yeah, special feeling. As a player, you just want to play your part. I have been given a different role by the captain and the coach, happy to be able to do my job today.

Don't want to disclose too much but somebody has got to front up with the wind from the commentary box. Batters were on fire once again, so it was a complete team effort.

It is always nice. We have had two washout games, we dropped points there. I am sure the home crowd will turn up in numbers on Sunday as well.

Look it can be a positive or a negative. If you have had a shocking game like I did in the first game, you can't wait for the next game so you can put in a better performance. When you find a bit of rhythm, you want the games to come thick and fast."
Player of the Match: Tabraiz Shamsi

07:51 AM IST, 10:21 PM Local Time: What a clinical performance from St Lucia Kings as they register back-to-back victories at home with this 7-wicket victory. The bowlers did the job earlier on and then the chase was beautifully sealed by the opening pair of Johnson Charles and Tim Seifert.

Seifert and Charles starred as they finished the game in the Powerplay itself to not allow any opening for the Patriots. The pair managed to help the Kings get to 72/0 at the end of six overs. Charles continued to go big even after the field spread out with a couple of maximums off Waqar Salamkheil but the Afghan got his wicket after that to break the 85-run opening stand.

The breakthrough didn’t really bring the Patriots into the contest as Ackeem Auguste continued from where he left off in the previous match. Seifert also took on the senior role as he went onto reach his fifty off 35 balls in the 10th over. By the half-way stage of the chase, the Kings got themselves to 117/1 needing only 61 off the remaining 10 overs.

Jason Holder brought back Naseem Shah for the 13th over and he responded with the wicket of Ackeem Auguste. The Patriots stitched a few good overs in that period with Naseem also finding the timber of Seifert in the 15th over. The storm was then averted by the experienced duo of Tim David and Roston Chase as they took the side home with 18 balls to spare.

Earlier in the match, Andre Fletcher got off to a flier but Evin Lewis struggled at the other end. The left-hander eventually perished while trying to take on Roston Chase in the final over of the Powerplay. Fletcher slowed down as the field spread out and he was sent packing by Tabraiz Shamsi in the 9th over. Then, the pair of Mohammad Rizwan and Kyle Mayers came together to build a partnership. Rizwan showed refreshing intent from the time he came to the crease while Mayers looked out of touch at the other end.

Rizwan went onto score his fifty in the 17th over just before the 71-run partnership was broken by Shamsi as he got Mayers to hole out to long-on. In the end, the Patriots’ skipper Holder struck a couple of sixes to help the team finish with 177/3.

4 FOUR MORE!!!! Chase finishes the chase with a bang!!! Full toss on the off stump. Roston Chase smashes it down the ground, straight back past the bowler for a cracking boundary. The ball goes to the fence in a flash. Kings get over the line with 7 wickets in hand and 3 overs to spare. With this win, the defending champions move to the top of the points table.
Just two runs away from the victory mark after Roston Chase's boundary.
