Jason Holder (St Kitts & Nevis Patriots Captain): "Just the character of the boys (on what pleased him the most). We had come from a tough game and it was brilliant from the boys. I said to the guys at the beginning that decision making will be crucial. The young players have been fantastic for us. The seamers have been good as well.

We were short on runs but it was again a brilliant performance from the boys. Just lots of love (on the fans and crowd). This was a special one for me as well. This is a new franchise for me and winning this shows my character as well. Thank you."
Rovman Powell (Barbados Royals Captain): "It is disappointing to see us throw a game like this away. I think through the middle overs we didn't bat how we wanted to, it was basically six or out.

It is a good wicket. You had to get yourself out on this surface, we didn't bat well. Hopefully, next time we can.

Show that the game is not over. Once you keep fighting as St Kitts did today, you are always in the game. It is just disappointing that we lost two games that we should have won.

Yeah, I think it went pretty well. If were told to chase 170-180 at the start, we would have taken that. This is the second game where we didn't field well. There are few little areas where we need to work on. But young Ramon Simmonds did well, so there's a lot of encouragement."
Jason Holder (POTM): "It feels damn good. We have had some tough games, but the guys believed. We put some runs on the board. We always stuck in the game and credit to the boys for the character they showed.

I am trying my best to work it out. We have so many bowling options. Unluckily, Waqar was not at his best today. It brought the seamers back into the game. I am just trying to understand the guys a bit more, trying to understand when can I bring myself in the game.

I just want to have a clear mind and be a bit more decisive. I guess so. I see the game from a different light as a captain. I enjoy what I do, the boys are making my job easier."

8:01 AM IST & 10:31 PM Local Time | ALL OVER! St Kitts & Nevis Patriots win by 12 runs! What a game we have just witnessed. One of the best games of the season so far. Brilliant bowling display from SKNP here. They move 2nd on the points table after this win.

Opting to bowl first, the Royals began well with the new ball, maintaining tight lines during the powerplay and middle overs. However, they let things slip slightly in the death, conceding a few extra runs. Ramon Simmonds was the standout performer with the ball, returning impressive figures of 3/26 from his four overs. Dan Sams also made a strong contribution, picking up 2 wickets.

With the bat, SKNP put together a solid innings, thanks in large part to a strong finish. Kyle Mayers was the top scorer, smashing 42 off 28 balls, helping his side post a competitive total of 174/8.

In response, the Royals started brightly, scoring at a good pace. However, they kept losing wickets at crucial intervals, which prevented them from taking full control of the chase. At one point, it looked like they might cruise to victory, but the Patriots had other ideas.

Jason Holder turned the game on its head with a sensational spell, finishing with outstanding figures of 4/14 in just 3.2 overs, effectively sealing the match for SKNP. He received excellent support from Navin Bidaisee and Naseem Shah, who picked up 2 wickets each.

The Royals showed plenty of fight with the bat. Kadeem Alleyne top-scored with a fluent 42 off 28, while Ramon Simmonds, not content with just his bowling performance, chipped in with some big hits lower down the order to keep the chase alive. Despite their efforts, the Royals were eventually bowled out for 162, falling 12 runs short of the target.

A thrilling match that had its fair share of momentum swings – stay tuned for the post-match presentations!
