With plenty of T20 cricket being played around the world at this time, this Test series was like a breath of fresh air. Both teams had moments that will linger in the memories of the fans for a long time. Alas, we do not have a third Test scheduled and hence, the honors will have to be shared. But sometimes things are better that way, isn't it?
On that note, it is time for Darpan Tikiya, Ajay Raghava, Ashok Dayama and Deepak Prakash to sign off. Bringing this series to you has given us a lot of joy. We hope that you relished it as much as we did. Keep following Crex for more cricketing action from around the world. Goodbye for now! 👋
6:04 PM IST, 6:34 PM local time | The skippers collect the trophy and both the teams stand together behind the "Champions" banner to pose for pictures. Smiles, high-fives and hugs all around.

Najmul Hossain Shanto (Bangladesh Captain): "Yeah, brilliant performance from the whole team. This is what we need to do consistently.
I don't think there is too much pressure on us. We knew we can play better cricket than that, we did just that.
We struggle with opening partnerships. Today, the way Shadman and Bijoy batted, really enjoyed it. We want them to carry this in the future games as well.
Lot of cricketers coming in, new faces. They wanted to win. They wanted to perform. It is great for our overall cricket."
Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Player of the Match and Player of the Series): "I am feeling good. First match we lost. We had to win this match. The boys were really up for it. There was a commitment that we have to play as a team and win.
Credit goes to the bowlers, who batted along with me. They showed great character. So thankful to Tanzim Hasan Sakib and Taijul Islam. We have some good seniors. Mushfiqur Rahim has been around for a while, Shanto is there. I am there. It shows if we play as a team, we can do really well."
Player of the Match & Series: Mehidy Hasan Miraz
Craig Ervine (Zimbabwe Captain): "Yeah, I think. The first innings, we knew it was a good wicket to bat on. You expect to put a lot more runs on the board. We did a lot of things right but let it slip later in the day. You are always chasing the game after scoring 227 batting first. Bangladesh batted well and batted us out of the game.
Really chuffed for him. He has got a bright future. I am happy for him to come here in Bangladesh and bag a five-wicket haul.
I think, it is a concern when you get starts. Bangladeshi spinners were brilliant and really made life difficult for us. They really made us grind, which we didn't do.
Lot of learnings from this series. We move to England now. Different conditions and different challenge. Hopefully, this is the start of good future for us.
I enjoyed the tour, I thought Sylhet and its hotel was fantastic. Some of us were here in 2006, a special moment to be back in Bangladesh and the guys certainly enjoyed it. I enjoyed my time here in Bangladesh."
Time for the post-series presentation.
