Time to wrap up this coverage, folks! For now, itās me, Deepak Prakash, signing off on behalf of scorer/analyst Yogesh Kumar. CHEERS!
Sonu Sharma (Dynamic Delhi Captain): "I was thinking about my batting, but I didnāt get a chance to bat. When their skipper said they would score 300 runs, we knew we had already won the match. Their overconfidence led to their collapse. We would have easily chased down 200+ runs as well."
Manvendra Singh Chauhan (POTM): "I had to perform because there are some concerns in our batting lineup, so I needed to step up. We tried a few players in the first game, then made changes to the team, and for this game, we altered the lineup again. It's a dream come true for me."
Player of the Match: Manvendra Singh Chauhan
Time for the post-match presentation......
4:49 PM IST, Local Time: A comprehensive victory for Dynamic Delhi as they chased down 148 runs by 7 wickets and 16 balls to spare.
Earlier, after opting to bat first, Kolkata Superstars got off to a shaky start as they lost both their openers - Sunny Karla (18) and Anuj Nagar (0) - inside three overs. Afzal Hussain (26), Rachit Sehrawat (37), and Nitin Saini (25) scored rapidly and provided the momentum in the middle overs. However, the Superstars failed to score rapidly at the tail end of the innings and were restricted to 148/8 in 10 overs. Navdeep Kundu shone with the ball for Delhi, claiming three wickets. Sunny Nagar chipped in with a couple of wickets, while Harsh Singh, Arshad, and Manvendra Singh Chauhan celebrated one wicket each. In responce to 148 runs, Dynamic Delhi lost Sunny Nagar (10) cheaply, but Mohd. Irfan and Manvendra Singh Chauhan went honkers and bonkers from the outset. The pair smashed sixes for fun and took the game far from Kolkata Superstars. Irfan departed for 33 runs off 9 balls, but Manvendra remained unbeaten on 79 runs off 20 balls and sealed the deal for his side with 16 balls to spare. Nikhil Badeja, Rachit Sehrawat, and Ankul Yadav grabbed one wicket each for the Superstars. Stay tuned for the post-match presentationā¦..
