That's it from our coverage of the 2nd T20 international between Namibia and Canada. Ninaad Dixit here signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Darpan Tikiya and scorer/analyst Paras Yadav. Stay tuned for more action from around the world.
Gerhard Erasmus (Namibia captain): "Special all-round day. It has been a long journey to this day. Getting your own facility. Good to win against a good side. (On Zane Green's innings) It is probably something that he would say he would have wanted to do more through his career. But he was really good today. It is a good pitch, with even bounce even after so much rain around. For us, it is about finding good roles for all the boys. Like today, Green put his hand up as the finisher. Hopefully in the next three games other guys will put their hands up too"
Nicholas Kirton (Canada Captain): "It was a good opportunity. It was a good game of cricket. They were off to a flier but Akhil got us back in the game. Yuvraj Samra will get mature as he plays. He is a great talent. They played really well. In the last over Trumpelmann bowled nicely to keep us to a low score. Lot of low points in the game that made the difference."
JJ Smit (Player of the Match): "I mentioned before the game that it is a special day for us. This venue is special for us. We tried to learn what is the right length on that pitch. We are still learning about our own pitch. We got warmed up nicely, that helped during the rain delay. We played some cards in the meantime and were ready to get on once the match started."
Player of the Match: JJ Smit
9:40 PM IST, 7:10 PM Local Time: Namibia clinch an excellent 3-wicket win under pressure against an experienced Canada side in the rain-hit second T20 international at Windhoek.
Winning the toss, the hosts elected to bowl first on the same surface where the series opener was washed out. Rain arrived just as the players took the field shortening the game to 15 overs per-side.
Ruben Trumpelmann bowled a devastating spell of fast bowling clinching 4/28 in 3 overs and backed up JJ Smit's 3/18 to restrict Canada to 145/8. Yuvraj Samra on debut top scored with 37 off 18 balls hitting 3 fours and as many sixes.
Kaleem Sana removed opening batter JP Kotze for a duck in the very first over but Niko Davind and Nicol Loftie-Eaton added 69 runs for the 2nd wicket making full use of the field restrictions. Akhil Kumar struck in his first over to dismiss Davin for 32 off 19 balls.
Loftie-Eaton smashed a six and four boundaries to score 36 in 21 balls before he was sent back by Kumar. JJ Smit picked up where this duo left and hit 33 off 17 balls keeping the hosts in the chase.
Kumar, Kaleem Sana and Shahid Ahmadzai picked up some key wickets in the death overs with Namibia requiring 11 off the final over. Smit looking to hit the ball in the gap on the leg side picked up the man in the deep bringing Handre Klazinge on the crease who very ably rotated the strike.
Requiring 8 to win off the final 2 balls, wicketkeeper batter Zane Green held his nerve and scooped his way to a maximum and scampered back for a couple of runs to seal the game for Namibia, finishing with an unbeaten 21 off just 8 balls that included a couple of maximums.
Akhil Kumar was the pick of the bowlers for Canada with 3/12, Kaleem Sana (2/35) picked up a couple of wickets but was very expensive.
Hang around as we bring you the post match presentation in a while.

2 THEY GET BACK FOR TWO! NAMIBIA WIN OFF THE LAST BALL! Canada players look distraught. Sana went for the yorker but could not land it. Green whipped the low full toss towards the left of long-on. The connection was anything but sweet. The ball meandered along the turf to reach the fielder, who charged in to save time. He picked it up, hurled it to the keeper. But Green was quick to put in the big dive and there was no doubt that he had made his ground before the gloveman whipped the bails off.
