Shaheen Shah Afridi (Lahore Qalandars Captain):"Thanks to the almighty that we have won the awards. The credit goes to the owners. They have tried throughout the years. Youngsters were backed in the tournament and they delivered.
Naeem, Salman, Haris Rauf- everyone is talented. They are the futures of Pakistan. When we saw the pitch, we saw that 180-190 will be scored but Hasan Nawaz and Faheem did well to take the score to 201. We knew that we need to play natural shots to win. Kusal played a fantastic innings. Credit goes to Raza for coming and playing the match.
Anybody coming at this stage should look to stay disciplined and give the result. My job was to follow the plan and deliver. I did that. Happy for the team."
Lahore Qalandars' players are getting the winners medal from Asif Ali Zardari, the President of Pakistan.
Saud Shakeel (Quetta Gladiators Captain):"The journey has been a great one. Just we couldn't finish at the top. We got all sorts of support from the management. The regret is that we finished runners-up.
Lahore Qalandars' batters deserve the credit for doing incredible. The way Raza and Kusal finished I can say that they deserved to win this.
Hasan Nawaz is a great talent. He likes to open the batting but we sent him in the middle order and then promoted him at the number 4 position. He adopted really well. We have learnt a lot from Sir Viv Richards. His presence in the dressing room gave us the scope to be better and do better in every aspects of the game.
Overall it was a great journey."
Quetta Gladiators' players are coming one by one to collect the runners-up medals.

The time we got for the practice, I gave it my best. I saw the videos to correct my weaknesses where I did bad in New Zealand. Spinners balls were coming well and I took them on.
Quetta Gladiators management supported us a lot. We tried to watch the final but couldn't make it happen."
