Saud Shakeel (Quetta Gladiators Captain): "Nafay gave us a good start, and Nawaz sealed the game for us. It’s a positive sign for both players, showing what they are capable of. The conditions in Lahore suited us, and hopefully, we will continue this form in the playoffs."
Hasan Nawaz (POTM): "My plan was to play till the end and seal the game for my side. I worked on my weaknesses after the New Zealand tour, and it paid off."

6:48 PM Local Time: Hasan Nawaz seals the win with a biggie, guiding Quetta Gladiators to a thrilling last-ball victory by 2 wickets. The Gladiators secure a top-two spot, while the Sultans managed just one win in their league-stage fixtures.
Earlier, after opting to bat first, Multan Sultans lost skipper Rizwan (4) cheaply. Yasir Khan (45) and Jahanzaib Sultan (25) scored at a decent pace and laid the foundation for the Sultans, adding 50+ runs for the second wicket. Tayyab Tahir chipped in with a valuable 36 in the middle, but the Sultans kept losing wickets at regular intervals, with Usman Tariq (3/32) doing most of the damage with the ball. Quetta Gladiators bowlers lost momentum in the death overs and leaked a bit too many runs. Muhammad Amir Barki (21*) and Shahid Aziz’s (29) cameos helped Sultans post 185/7 in 20 overs. In response to 185 runs, Quetta Gladiators got off to a solid start as Saud Shakeel (18) and Khawaja Nafay (51) scored rapidly from the outset. The opening duo added 77 runs for the first wicket. Avishka Fernando (7), Dinesh Chandimal (17), and Danish Aziz (0) fell cheaply as the Gladiators lost wickets at regular intervals during the middle phase. Faheem Ashraf chipped in with a quickfire 16 off 9 balls to steady the innings. The match went down to the wire with 11 needed off the final over, but Hasan Nawaz held his nerve, remaining unbeaten on 67 and finishing the game with a last-ball six to seal the win for his side. Shahid Aziz starred with the ball for the Sultans, claiming three wickets for just 29 runs in his four-over quota. Stay tuned for the presentation…...
