Babar Azam (Peshawar Zalmi Captain): "I think we weren't expecting the pitch to behave like that, but credit should be given to our bowlers. Whenever a side takes wickets in the first overs, the opposition side gets under pressure, and we were able to put more and more pressure with each bowling change.
I think the balls that were bowled on a good length area were coming two-paced onto the bat. The plan was simple: to hit the pitch hard and to bowl according to the field. That's why we succeeded today and were able to restrict them to that low of a total.
I want specially talk about Saim Ayub's knock. We were eagerly waiting for him to come good. Thanks to the Almighty, he could score a few runs tonight. As you know, how good a player he is, his form is very important for the Peshawar Zalmi. He is one such player who has the ability to turn the game on its head whenever he gets his mojo right. He is a game-change,r and he showed that he is returning back to form. I think the break helped him. He is a young player, and we want him to fight out of bad form.
(On Haris convincing him to take the DRS for caught behind) Yeah, he forced him to take a review. We all were confused but he was pretty confident. Keepers always think that was an edge."

Ahmed Daniyal (POTM): "My planning for tonight and among all the bowlers was not to be too fancy and bowl wicket to wicket. Slower one was working so we decided to mix it up to deceive the batters.
I have bowled with the new ball but I enjoy bowling in the middle and later phases of the game. I have the slower one and variations, so that's why I like to bowl in the end and in the middle.
I enjoyed the wicket of Tayyab Tahir because once he gets going, it is tough to stop him."

Mohammad Rizwan (Multan Sultans Captain): "Ball was coming well in the first innings but later it started to do a bit different. In the second innings, they batted really well. We failed to execute.
Shahid has bowled really well. We have Ubaid too. The youngsters are performing well and if you see Ali Raza, he has performed well. In the last season, we had great players like Mohammad Ali but they are playing for different teams. I think the names in the squad don't matter much. if you drop too many catches, it will backfire.
The Multan crowd is supporting good cricket. I hope the stadium fills again as the tournament progresses.
