David Warner (Karachi Kings Captain): "Now it's about putting back-to-back performances. For us it was a crucial toss to bat well and then start well. Me and Timmy just going to keep doing what we do at the top of the order kept the momentum going. Vincy can come out and play the way he wants to play and we've sort that role with us in top 4 about feeding off each other and batting around each other. The way they played through the middle period, partnership with Niazi coming in. I was very proud of him. We told him to keep sticking at his game plan, keep playing with a positive attitude and mindset and we had those starts with everyone but we didn't take up too many balls which was fantastic.
Today was a much needed day game for us. Just to slow that tempo down a bit and to bat first and put a total on the board and give the bowlers something to sort of aim at. We have bowled first quite a bit so that's always good practice but they keep doing what I ask of them and powerplay wickets are crucial.
The good thing about Abbas is, he's always transparent with what he wants to bowl and I said to him, if it's not swinging you can change to bowl your change-ups and he's so receptive like that. I am proud of the way the guys are responding and what they are trying to achieve as a team.
It's about being positive and taking the game on. We can't sit and react. Sometimes at night time when the ball is swinging and moving around, it's easy to go into your shell or it's easier to over-attack with the ball so for us it's about finding that balance and at the moment we've got that and we've gotta keep working on that."
James Vince (POTM): "The competition's been a bit stop-start for usâwin one, lose one. So it was important to bounce back with a win today after the mini break. I thought the openers gave us a fantastic start. Once the ball got older, it became a bit trickier, and I didnât find it that easy out there. But yeah, posting 200 on that pitch was always going to be a tough chase, and credit to the bowlersâthey got the job done.
Yeah, I think in certain games, youâve got to assess the wicket quickly and decide whether itâs going to be a 200-run pitch or if itâs going to play a bit trickyâand then make sure you donât let the opposition into the game. Itâs about constantly reading the conditions and figuring out the best plan for that particular day."

Time for post-match presentation....
Mohammad Rizwan (Multan Sultans Captain): "I think weâre now eliminated from the tournament. It probably works out well for the other teams, as the qualification equation becomes a bit simpler for them. We lost momentum at various stages of the contest, which is crucial in a T20 game, and that ultimately cost us the match. We repeated the same mistakes again and again."
