So that marks the end of our coverage from the 12th game of the PSL 2025 between Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi. Karachi Kings have got a comfortable victory with just 3 balls remaining. Now the caravan shifts to Multan from Karachi. Tomorrow, we will have Multan Sultans locking horns with Lahore Qalandars at the Multan Stadium.
For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Deepak Prakash, Ajay Pal Singh and our scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Good night.
David Warner (Karachi Kings Captain):"I am very very happy. It was extremely tough but we bowled well in the first six overs. Khushdil is the player of the match, he bowled nicely too.
I say the boys to stay positive at every time. The ball was getting up and down but playing late was the key. We saw the last few games. Abbas can hit a few long balls, we are glad to have Hasan.
To restrict them within 150 was the key. The pitch was challenging. We finished the Karachi leg very well and it makes me happy."
Khushdil Shah (POTM): "Yes, when I got the chance to bat. It was pressure for us. The management has told me that they will send me down the order to handle such situations. In the end, we decided to take the game deep and then see what happens from there.
No, when the last two overs were left, we had to go after the bowling. We knew they will have to bowl a spinner or a part-time bowler in the final over and we calculated the chase nicely.
Karachi Kings have given me the opportunity. They are giving me four overs, pushing me up the order with the bat. They involve me in everything which is helping my all-round game as well.
Babar was their main wicket and I am after his wicket for a long time, finally managed to get it."
