Ryan Rickelton (Player of the Match): "Awesome. I have my family here as well so obviously special to put in a performance in front of them. Always happy to contribute to the Mumbai Indians. Such a good group and we are finding the momentum at the right time.
[Partnership with Rohit] It was a bit of a slow start getting into the tournament for both of us but we kept clicking slowly as a partnership together which is incredible to be out there with him. With the weather looming around of those first few overs, we were a bit unsure of how we were going to go but we managed to dovetail quite nicely. One took the option at the right time and gave a space for the partner to pick his moments. Awesome to get out there, lay the foundation and then watch SKY and Hardik play the way they do.
[Adapting to conditions] That's the most difficult thing about the IPL. Coming to India for the first time you obviously want to try out your game according to the conditions but not changing too much. I was guilty in the 1st quarter of the tournament trying to alter too much but trying to just stick now to my template of what's made me successful with a few tweaks based on the conditions. I'm finding it as I'm going along a little bit easier and hopefully I can just take some momentum to the back end now.
[Assessing the conditions and passing the info] We have such a strong think tank with the senior players and a great management group. Whenever my opinions are asked, I am happy to share but the brains behind the group are incredibly powerful. We let them do their thing and just make sure we are doing our jobs and contributing."

Hardik Pandya (Mumbai Indians Captain): "Absolutely, I am happy! Especially with the way we batted, and then we were clinical with the ball. So, yeah, a perfect game. We could have got 15-20 more runs. We did get those balls which were in the arc. We kind of missed out. We were focused on playing cricketing shots.
What we tried to speak to each other (Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav) was to play percentage shots. Surya and I said there's value for shots. Ro (Rohit Sharma) and Ryan (Rickleton) batted the same way. I think it was absolutely fantastic.
It is never about people getting chances; it's about what is required in the situation. People are going back to batsmanship; it is about hitting the gaps, running hard. As a group, the way we batted was proper batsmanship.
I don't know who all to mention in the bowling group. The kind of bowling attack we have and the experience, I don't have to worry. Everyone was really clear. We're going back to simple cricket, and it's working for that. We want to take it game by game, and be humble and disciplined."
