PHEW! What a game we've just witnessed in New Chandigarh—IPL at its dramatic best! Flashback to last year when PBKS pulled off the highest-ever successful T20 chase against KKR at Eden Gardens. Tonight, in a complete reversal, they’ve defended the lowest total in IPL history—and that too against the reigning champions! Mullanpur was electric as PBKS pulled off a stunning comeback, turning the match on its head to beat the Knights by 16 runs in a thrilling low-scoring contest.

KKR have only themselves to blame for letting this one slip away. Full credit to the bowlers from both sides for making it such a gripping contest. Matches will keep coming thick and fast in this Incredible Premier League. Up next, we head to the Arun Jaitley Stadium where Delhi Capitals take on Rajasthan Royals tomorrow.

For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Akshay Bhide & Ninaad Dixit who, along with scorers/analysts Paras Yadav and Manish Bishnoi and statistician Aman brought all the updates of this clash. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world. BYE BYE👋
Yuzvendra Chahal (Player of the Match): "It is a team effort. We thought positively. If we get 2-3 wickets in the powerplay, it will exert pressure. It was a slow wicket, the ball was turning as well.

When I bowled the first ball, it turned a bit and Shreyas asked me if I wanted a slip. I didn't want to take a chance and asked for it straightaway and the plan was to take wickets and win the game.

I was hit for 56 in the last game. I was confident that I could change the game in the middle overs. I backed my self-belief.

My mindset is to get a wicket from the very first ball. I was varying my pace against Ajju bhai so that he has to put some effort in going big against me.

If you win such low scoring games, the team's morale goes high. It is a low scoring victory and my first player of the match award for the Punjab side."

Shreyas Iyer (Punjab Kings Captain): "My thoughts, it's hard to describe in words. The ball was turning. I told Yuzi to turn the ball. We needed to be attacking. Thankfully, right players were there at the right place. It's tough to talk. Such victories benefit you in the end.

Obviously, when I walked out to bat, one stayed low and one hit the bottom. The other players who were good at sweeping were finding it hard. There was variable bounce. We got to a decent total. The wicket was variable and the bounce wasn't consistent. We had that at the back of our mind and we asked the bowlers to keep the stumps in play.

Two wickets in two overs, it gave us that momentum. The later batters came in and took the momentum towards them. When we saw Yuzi come in and spin the ball, we believed. I wanted to keep the attacking fields and ask the batters to play different shots.

It's important for us to stay humble and not get overhyped with this win. This win will create a lot of boost. We will look to get confidence from this win and to put in a better performance next time."
