The battle of the Royals went in RCB's favour as the visitors strolled to an easy win in Jaipur. Bowlers set it up with some tight bowling and then a breezy fifty from Phil Salt and a responsible knock by Virat Kohli, who registered his 100th fifty in T20s, took Bengaluru home with 15 balls to spare. Rajasthan Royals dropped a plethora of catches and in the end, it cost them the game.

Phil Salt (Player of the Match): "Yeah very pleased with my performance especially on the road. The venue was slightly different for me. I spoke about it before the game that I wanted to get my side to a good start and I am happy that I did exactly that today.
(On facing Jofra Archer) I had a few plans in my mind but he was able to swing the ball a lot. So, I decided that there was one spot in the ground where I can hit the ball. Me and Jofra have a lot of battles in the nets. He has knocked me over more than anyone else. I have faced him the most. Nicely to have the wood on him. We will face them again in a few days time.
The wicket was a bit slower and lower. I had the opportunity in the powerplay to put a stamp on the game. To be honest, I think Rajasthan batted really well. Our bowlers executed the plans and ensured they hit it straight down the ground. Happy with the overall performance of our team."

[Any target they had in mind] I don't think so. The way we bowled in the bowling powerplay was special, the pitch wasn't easy to bat. We were targeting around 150-170.
[On bowlers] I think, I get confidence from my bowlers. They are ready to bowl at any stage and on any surface.
I really enjoyed his (Phil Salt) batting. The way VK bhai rotated the strike was special as well.
[On taking confidence to the next venue] Yeah, but I think we are a team that doesn't look at the venue. We rely on playing positive cricket."
