Milestone
Right then. Rajasthan Royals end the Guwahati-leg with a win. Their first in this year's competition. Chennai Super Kings, meanwhile, have now lost two games in a row and will be looking to bounce back when they return to their den.

That's it from all of us for this game. Keep joining us for more cricketing action all around the globe. For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentators AkshayaKrishna Polya and Pritam Dey, scorers Paras Yadav and Manish Bishnoi and statistician Aman. Bye bye. Good night.
Nitish Rana (POTM): "I just wanted to make use of the new ball and powerplay. We have seen that once the ball gets older and after the powerplay, it has become difficult for run scoring. I just wanted to play the field and the ball, but not the bowler. Whenever fine leg or third man was up, I just had to use the bowler's pace. I was trying too hard in the last two matches. Tonight, I thought of timing the ball and placing it. It worked well.

It was the coach's plan to get me batting at 3. I am happy to bat anywhere. Last time I batted at number 4. I went too hard trying to hit the ball. Riyan Parag was doing the same at number 3. We had a conversation in the dressing room between Rahul Dravid and Vikram Rathour, and it was decided that I would bat at three today. Not sure about the same order next game. I will leave that to the coaches."
Player of the Match: Nitish Rana
Riyan Parag (Rajasthan Royals Captain): "Feels good. It took a lot of time for us to win our first game, though we lost just too games but very happy at the moment.

Um, I still think we were 20 runs short. I felt that we lost a couple of quick wickets in the middle phase. I felt we were 20 short but we bowled really well.

(On the bowling unit) Absolutely, we had two tough games. We conceded 280 in the first game and failed to defend 150 in the second game. The mindset was simple, forget those games and come with a fresh mindset. Execute our plans and have a collective good game.

(On why Jofra Archer did not complete his quota) Um, just assessing the situations. Whatever the gut feeling was, I went with that. I still had Nitish and myself as bowling options too.

I think, fielding always makes up for those 20 runs which I feel we were short. Fielding always pays off. I think we have been working really hard with our fielding coach and it's just paying off for us."
