Ashleigh Gardner (Hero of the Match): "Definitely. That was probably our first all-around performance. We did well in all disciplines. We need results to go our way to stay in the competition. But we did what we have in hand.
There were few dot balls when I was trying to hit the ball too hard. It was quite tricky to find the boundary but I tried to pounce on anything that was in my zone. It was lovely to bat with Nat for a long period.
This wicket is conducive for spin. When you took pace off, you get the assistance. We knew if we did that, we will get the rewards. It worked today and it was pleasing to see the other spinners get the work done."
