That's it from all of us for this game. Keep joining us for more cricketing action all around the globe. For now, this is Akshay Bhide, signing off, on behalf of scorer Bishal Mandal. Bye bye.
Ashleigh Gardner (Hero of the Match): "Definitely. That was probably our first all-around performance. We did well in all disciplines. We need results to go our way to stay in the competition. But we did what we have in hand.

There were few dot balls when I was trying to hit the ball too hard. It was quite tricky to find the boundary but I tried to pounce on anything that was in my zone. It was lovely to bat with Nat for a long period.

This wicket is conducive for spin. When you took pace off, you get the assistance. We knew if we did that, we will get the rewards. It worked today and it was pleasing to see the other spinners get the work done."

6:16 PM IST, 1:46 PM Local Time: That’s it. Back-to-back wins for Trent Rockets Women and they stay alive in the competition. They beat Welsh Fire Women by 23 runs. This is Welsh Fire Women’s sixth defeat this season and they remain winless at home, losing four at Sophia Gardens.

The Fire Women got off to a solid start in the chase of 146. They lost their skipper Tammy Beaumont (5) cheaply but the pair of Sophia Dunkley and Hayley Matthews scored at a brisk rate and helped their finish the powerplay on 44/1. Things went downhill for the Fire Women post the powerplay.

Hayley Matthews (18) got cleaned up on the 35th ball. Georgia Elwiss (2), Jess Jonassen (12) and Dunkley (26) fell in a quick succession as the Rockets Women stormed back into the contest. Sarah Bryce (22) and Alex Griffiths (11) but the run-rate crept up and regular wickets meant that the Fire Women finished their innings on 122/9, falling short by 23 runs. It was spin to win for the Rockets Women as Kirstie Gordon (2/32), Ashleigh Gardner (2/28) and Alana King (3/17) picked up seven wickets among them to defend the total successfully.

Earlier, the Rockets were asked to bat first and Bryony Smith gave them a blazing start. She came out all guns blazing and scored at a brisk rate. Grace Scrivens (5) fell cheaply but Smith kept going strong and scored 27-ball 38 before falling in the eighth set. Nat Sciver-Brunt and her skipper Ashleigh Gardner put a solid 67-run stand for the third wicket.

Sciver-Brunt (38) and Gardner (36) laid the foundation for a solid finish but fell in a quick succession. As a result, the Fire Women pulled back things and denied the visitors a strong finish. Heather Graham remained unbeaten on 13 as the Rockets Women finished their innings on 145/6. For the hosts, Freya Davies picked up three wickets, giving away 26 runs. The batters didn't get going in the chase and lost the fixture by 23 runs.

100b H Graham to K Levick
0 Good length outside off, Levick looks to square drive it but ends up chopping it onto the turf. Threlkeld behind the stumps stops it on a bounce and that's the end of this fixture.
99b H Graham to S Ismail
1 Full on the pads, Ismail swings it away towards deep mid wicket, who stops it on a bounce.
