Sophie Ecclestone (Hero of the Match):"Obviously, a great day for us. The girls did a fine job and two off days for us now.
The wicket got a bit tired and I was happy to bowl on it.
I feel we bowled very well as a group. The bowlers did a great job to keep them to that total.
Moons (Mooney) said two partnerships. Great to see her get the job done. Key win for us and hopefully, the Eliminator is next for us."

9:55 PM IST and 5:25 PM Local Time: A comprehensive victory for Manchester Originals as they chalked down a 112-run target with no hiccups. With crucial points under their name, they leapfrog in the points table to reach the third spot.
Arriving in the chase, openers Kathryn Bryce and Beth Mooney took a cautious start against the opposition bowlers. The Rockets started with a blend of pace and spin inside the powerplay, conceding just 25 runs.
With the further introduction of Heather Graham and Alana King after the field restrictions were lifted, the scoring accelerated for the Originals. Mooney and Bryce ensured that runs come in strike rotation and boundaries regularly. As the associate nation prodigy touched her fifty mark, the team hundred followed. It was just a matter of time before the pair fetched a couple of fours to ease the chase in 82 balls.
Bowling first, the Originals tasted some early heat inside the first five sets despite getting a couple of blows induced in the opposition den. Following 34 runs inside the powerplay, the scoring rate slowed. Although Natalie Sciver-Brunt tried to graft the innings, captain Ashleigh Gardner and Jodi Grewcock scored at just above run-a-ball pace, setting up Nelson in 100 balls. Lauren Filer picked up three, while Sophie Ecclestone was the pick of the bowlers despite a couple of wickets only. She conceded just twelve runs in 20 balls, while Kathryn Bryce bagged double wickets.
