The women's team didn't quite live up to the moniker "Invincibles" tonight. But the Sam Billings-led men's side has on most days in the tournament thus far. They will be in action up next. Will the home team be able to replicate what Georgia Adams and co. have just managed? Find out by switching tabs and tuning into the coverage for that match.
From here, it is the troika of Darpan Tikiya, Akshay Bhide and Paras Yadav signing off. Sayonara!
Sophie Devine (Hero of the Match): "To be completely honest, I feel a bit embarrassed as it was a complete team performance today and it would have been someone different standing here. But it was a great performance from us.
I sprayed a little bit. But the great thing about this group is that we have spoken about different plans and everyone executes them. It is coming up right for us at the right time in the competition.
It's really important to focus at one game at a time. There is a real focus on each and every game and we have big games coming up. We will celebrate today's win which was a comprehensive one but we will shift our focus onto the next game."

9:59 PM IST, 5:29 PM local time: Southern Brave Women continue to remain undefeated. They win this match by a staggering 89 runs and move to the apex spot in the points table.
Meanwhile, the visitors put in a performance completely antithetical to their name — Team Oval is not invincible after all. They succumb to the biggest defeat ever in The Women's Hundred. Looking back, perhaps the only thing that went in their favour all day was the toss.
They invited the hosts to bat under overcast skies and did not give their best new ball bowler the chance to make the most of it. Marizanne Kapp was taken off the attack after the first set and the Invincibles rather turned to spin. Though, it would be incorrect to say that that alone would have caused a different result. After all, the Southern Brave batters exuded confidence from the off set and, riding on a couple of impressive knocks from Laura Wolvaardt and Maia Bouchier, notched up 161/6 off their 100 balls. Don't forget young Freya Kemp's sprightly 11-ball-24 that acted as a catalyst towards the fag end of the innings.
The visitors' start was sedate, but it wasn't until Sophie Devine's first set that their descend began. The New Zealand all-rounder knocked Meg Lanning with a peach and then, routed out the skipper three balls later. Oval Invincibles went from 12/0 to 47/8 with spinner Mady Villiers doing the most damage through the middle. LaurenBell too chipped in with two wickets, both of which came via the short ball. Some of the shot-making from the Winfield-Hill-led side was questionable and leaves them with a lot to think about before their next game.
