With this win, Northern Superchargers Women have climbed to the apex spot on the points table. Later tonight, their men's team will have the chance to do the same.

That drool worthy fixture — Harry Brook's Superchargers vs Liam Livingstone's Phoenix — is up next. Switch tabs to tune into that. From here, it is the troika of Darpan Tikiya, Pritam Dey and Paras Yadav signing off.
Biggest wins for Northern Superchargers Women in The Hundred (by balls remaining):

Phoebe Litchfield (Player of the Match): "Yeah, I think to score any runs for your team is good fun. I was happy to get another win for the Superchargers.

Yeah for sure this was the best pitch to bat on. Every time we get into Headingley, we know that it's going to be a good pitch. You saw that today especially with the way everyone batted. It was a really nice pitch. Headingley has done a nice job.

(On Linsey Smith & Lucy Higham) Yeah, they were just brilliant. They just hit their lengths perfectly and forced the Birmingham batters to try something else. Our two spinners have done wonders for us over the years and they showed it again today.

We have had this group together for three years now. We know each other a lot now and have a good bond as well. We had a pretty average game last game but we came out here with a positive mindset and you can see that in the girls."

9:46 PM IST, 5:16 PM local time: Northern Superchargers Women win by 8 wickets and climb to the top of the points table.

The Phoenix have been handed a thrashing — their third in a row and probably the worst of them all yet. The start of the day wasn't as bad. They won the toss and Georgia Voll struck three boundaries off the first five balls to get the innings underway. But then, Linsey Smith fired in a yorker that sneaked through from under the opener's bat to cannon into the stumps. Following which, we almost had a repeat of the cycle. Marie Kelly hit three fours off Grace Ballinger's next set and was then dismissed by Smith.

Post that, nothing really went the visiting team's way. Ellyse Perry was run out at the non-striker's end after Sterre Kalis drilled one straight, Amy Jones and Ailsa Lister failed to take off and whilst, Arlott and Kalis did stitch together an unbeaten 57-run partnership, at no point did it seem to threaten the opposition.

Superchargers were tidy with their bowling and immaculate with their fielding too. Apart from Linsey Smith's excellent spell, Lucy Higham's tidy returns and Annabel Sutherland's catching were the other standouts.

Despite that fact that they were chasing an underwhelming total, there was no dearth of exuberance from the hosts. Youngsters Davina Perrin and Alice Davidson-Richards exhibited positive intent and were not afraid to play their shots. But eventually, it was Phoebe Litchfield who stole the limelight. Her half-century was glazed with some effervescent and audacious stroke-making. Robust backfoot slashes, imposing lofted drives, jaw-dropping switch hits — it had it all. So much so that Sutherland, who scored at a strike rate of 150+ seemed like a mere spectator. Amidst that crash, bang and wallop, some opportunities too came the way of the Phoenix fielders. But alas, they dropped more than we could count. In the end, Northern Superchargers won with 26 balls to spare.

4 FOURRR!! WOWW!! Stand and deliver stuff from Phoebe Litchfield. That's the shot of the match! Flighted delivery full around middle and leg, slower through the air. Pre-meditated stroke from Litchfield. She changes her stance and turns into a right-hander. It was right in the slot and Litchfield clubs it straight over the bowler's head for a boundary. Northern Superchargers Women win by 8 wickets!
Dear oh dear! Taylor has seem to have hurt her hand in trying to spin the ball as hard as she can. The physio came out, attended her, and seems to have got her ready to bowl again.
