That is it from this game. A nail-biting game to give the cricket lovers joy on mid-week. I am AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator, Ajay Pal Singh and scorer/analyst, Paras Yadav. Switch tabs for the next game of the Men's Hundred between Welsh Fire and Manchester Originals. We will meet again. Until then, it is cheers!
Graham Clark (Hero of the Match): "Euphoric. I thought I messed it up when I left a wide one and missed a slot ball. But a great feeling to get the team over the line.

I have worked a lot with Neil McKenzie in the last few days. This is something I have never done before. Just trying to improve my power-hitting.

We thought it was a really good wicket. With the rain, we thought it eased a bit more. (On Mitchell Santner) Yeah, he's a quality operator. When he fields, bowls and bats. Such a calm character, hits the ball so cleanly."
Hero of the Match: Graham Clark
10:11 PM IST and 5:41 PM Local Time: PHEW! What a game we have just had in Southampton! This game had all the ebbs and flows, and Graham Clark, with a mighty heave off the final ball of the game, pulls off a heist for Northern Superchargers as they hand the hosts, Southern Brave, their first defeat of the season.

Earlier in the afternoon, Harry Brook won the toss and decided to bowl first under gloomy conditions. Jacob Duffy (26/3) breathed fire with the new ball and dismissed Leus du Plooy, James Vince and Jason Roy inside the powerplay, reducing the Southern Brave to 26/3.

Laurie Evans (53 off 34) and James Coles (49* off 36) rebuilt the innings with a magnificent 87-run 4th wicket partnership, with the former being the aggressor and hitting his third fifty in the Hundred.

Mitchell Santner (2/24) stopped the onslaught with a double-wicket set, dismissing Evans and Hilton Cartwright in the 17th set. Michael Bracewell (15* off 11) and Coles ensured that Brave posted a challenging 139/5 in their 100 balls.

Chasing 140, the Superchargers, too, lost a couple of early wickets with Craig Overton getting rid of Dawid Malan and Michael-Kyle Pepper inside the powerplay. However, Zak Crawley (29 off 18) and Harry Brook (24 off 16) kept batting positively to keep the required run rate in check. Both stylish right-handers failed to convert their starts and fell to Tymal Mills, before Overton (3/29) came back and removed Dan Lawrence to leave Northern Superchargers struggling at 80/5 at one stage.

Santner and Graham Clark played a few glorious strokes and turned the game on its head with their 50-run 6th wicket partnership. Chris Jordan could bowl only one set and walked off the field, injuring his right hamstring. James Vince had to use the overs of Bracewell and Coles, with the former going for runs and the latter staying economical.

With the Superchargers needing 11 runs off the 10 balls, Jofra Archer (2/15) produced a magical 19th set, conceding only 1 run and picking up the wickets of Santner (24 of 16) and Tom Lawes

Mills (2/38) had 10 runs to play with in the final set. Adil Rashid smartly took the single off the first ball of the 20th set, giving the strike back to Clark (38* off 24), who struck a boundary on the next ball to ease out the equation a touch. Mills bounced back strongly with consecutive dot balls, leaving 5 runs to deal with on the final ball. Clark smoked the last ball over long on and helped the Superchargers get over the line in a thrilling fixture by 3 wickets.

6 SIX RUNS!!!! Graham Clark, you ripper. He wins it for Superchargers on the final ball of the game!!! Mills cannot believe it. 5 needed off the last ball and Clark smokes a six. Mills goes for another slower one, back of a length, outside off. Clark shuffles across, gets into a nice position to get under it. He absolutely smokes it out of the middle of his bat and sends the ball sailing over long on for a maximum to win the points for Superchargers and hand Southern Brave their first defeat of the season. Mills is down on the pitch in despair.
Superb, absolutely superb from Tymal Mills. Nails the wide yorker and Clark was completely outfoxed. This is why cricket is called the game of margins. Northern Superchargers need 5 off the final ball. Four will take this game to the Super Five. A conference between Mills, Vince, Overton and a couple of others.

0 Full and wide outside off. Clark moves too far away from the stumps. Leaves it alone, hoping it is a wide but Mills was spot on with his line. Bowls it just inside the tramline. Another dot ball.
