So that marks the end of our coverage from the last group league fixture of the IML 2025 between England Masters and Australia Masters. From tomorrow, the semi-final games will start. India Masters will be facing the Australia Masters and the formers have a score to settle.

For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Soumarya Dutta and our scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Good night.
Semi-Final Fixtures of the International Masters League 2025:

Semi-Final 1: India Masters vs Australia Masters (13th March)

Semi-Final 2: West Indies Masters vs Sri Lanka Masters (14th March)
Shane Watson (Australia Masters Captain)- "Can't put on a better script than an India-Australia semi-final. Hopefully we can get across the line. We have been chasing throughout this tournament and the batters did really well. A lot of the players didn't get enough chances with the bat but we ensured that they got in a hit tonight so that they are in form when we go out against India. "
Nathan Reardon (Player of the Match): "It's been a tournament where the lower order didn't get the chance. It feels good to contribute to the team.

It's good to see the boys hit the ball really well. I contributed with a few catches to be honest. It is always to get a few out of the boundary.

We are looking forward for the tomorrow's game. India Masters is a tough opponent and it is a big game to follow. Firstly I need a good massage."

Time for the post-match presentations.
Eoin Morgan(England Masters Captain)- "We struggled to find our rhythm with the bat earlier on in the tournament but we did find a bit of it today. We were in the game but the bowling let us down. The injuries have held us back a bit with the ball tonight and with the side that Australia are, it was never going to be enough. I have loved playing in this tournament and the love of the game here in India is incredible.

Sri Lanka have been playing great cricket as have been Australia. Can't rule out India either and I'm going to back them to win the competition. "
10:36 PM IST and Local Time | Australia Masters have finished the group stage with a victory by 7 wickets and England Masters are going back without any victory in their bag. Australia Masters will play India Masters tomorrow in the semi-final.

Today Eoin Morgan decided to bat first and that surprised many. But he proved his decision worthy. He came to bat and took the strike to start the onslaught. Phil Mustard struggled at one end but Morgan kept the scoreboard ticking with boundaries. He registered his first fifty of the tournament and scored 64 off 32 balls with 5 fours and an equal number of maximums. His effort was well replicated by Tim Ambrose who continued his good form by scoring a fine 69 off 44 balls. His unbeaten innings consisted of 7 fours and 2 maximums. Darren Maddy and Tim Bresnan played two cameos to take the team score to 209 for 3.

For Australia Masters, Steve O'Keefe, Bryce McGain and James Pattinson took one wicket each.

Coming to chase the target, Australia got off to a flyer start as Shaun Marsh and Daniel Christian found a few boundaries in the powerplay. Marsh got out for just 20 and Christian started smashing the bowlers for fun. He added 61 runs beside his name off just 28 balls with 7 fours and 4 maximums. Nathan Reardon got a promotion up in the order and he also played his shots to score 83 off 39 balls with 9 fours and 5 sixes.

Tim Bresnan was the only one shining for England with the ball. Bresnan bowled the penultimate over and he took three wickets and conceded just 5 runs. But the Australia Masters were brilliant with the bat earlier and Bresnan's efforts fell short. He finished with 5/45 from his 4 overs. Monty Panesar and Boyd Rankin took one wicket each.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentations.
