That is all from here as we have the four semi-finalists of IML locked and loaded. There is still a league game left though between Australia Masters and England Masters which will decide the line-ups of the semis. For now, this is Sourabh Agrawal signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Saptak Sanyal and scorer Raju Khariya. Catch us tomorrow, same time and same place. Good night!
Brian Lara (West Indies Masters Captain):"I think it was important to get the momentum before going into the playoff. We will have a few days time before the knockout.
The pitches have been really good for batting and bowlers have also got their reward for good bowling. We lost two wickets in the powerplay and we had to put up a big score. Lendl Simmons chipped in and played his shots.
It has been a very good tournament. Teams winning the toss opted to bowl but I think Australia have showed that toss doesn't matter. Most likely we are going to face the Sri Lanka Masters in the playoff. That is the game we are looking forward to now. I don't even know if it is already decided or not."
Ravi Rampaul (Player of the Match for his 5/26): "After a good score on the board, the bowlers stepped up and did a good job.
Assessed the conditions, it was necessary to take pace off. 50% of my deliveries were slower balls today.
At the break we decided that we needed to close down. By bowling a lot dot balls, we got that opportunity.
We knew that we needed to have some momentum going for us. Definitely Jacques Kallis (his favorite wicket)."
Player of the Match: Ravi Rampaul
Most Sixes of the Match: Chadwick Walton
Time for the post-match presentations.
Jacques Kallis (South Africa Masters Captain): "Disappointing. I think we have conceded a few runs in the death overs and faltered in batting and that made the total a tough one to chase.
The way the guys performed was good. We have had a lot of fun. A big thanks to everyone for making the tournament successful. The guys were competitive. Yes we didn't make it to the knockout but the guys will be happy on their way back."
11:06 PM Local Time & IST: West Indies Masters register a convincing victory by 29 runs and book their places in the semi-finals courtesy this win. With this result, Australia Masters have also qualified for the last-4 and we now have our final four teams.
Chasing 201, South Africa Masters got off to a blazing start courtesy one man, Richard Levi who smacked it to all parts in the powerplay after getting a couple of reprieves as he blazed away to 16-ball 44 before getting dismissed by Suliemann Benn. South Africa got to 50 inside the 4th over but they kept losing wickets at regular wickets after losing the first one as they slipped from 47/0 to 64/3 as Amla and Petersen also fell.
Kallis and Rudolph stitched up a much-needed partnership for the fourth wicket and at one point they were doing really well to keep up with the rate as they were 122/3 at the end of 12 overs. A couple of quiet overs followed and that increased the pressure on them which led to the wicket of Rudolph and then Ravi Rampaul returned to put up a show towards the end. He took out three men in the 17th over and eventually ended up with a 5-er, just the second one in IML. Eventually, it was just too much to do for South Africa Masters and West Indies Masters closed it off clinically.
Earlier in the piece, it was a scintillating century from Lendl Simmons and a whirlwind 12-ball 38 run cameo from Chadwick Walton which powered West Indies Master to 200 after Kruger's inital burst had pegged them back in the powerplay. Kruger and Ntini finished with two wickets each for West Indies Masters.
