Phew! What a match that was. Alas, it ends with the defending champions getting knocked out of the competition. But the fans of UP Warriorz would surely remember this night for a long time. So will Gujarat Giants, who, have made it to the playoffs for the first time in WPL following this result. And rest assured, this game will linger on in our memories too for a while to come.

Deepti Sharma (UP Warriorz Captain): "No, in T20s, it generally goes close. We were thinking and planning to be on our toes. Happy with the effort of the entire team.
These conditions have come up before. If we had scored, we knew they would score as well. I just backed myself. Whatever wicket I got, my focus was only to get the breakthroughs.
It felt good. We have been talking a lot, we got starts but the middle order was not clicking. But tonight everyone clicked. Voll scored back-to-back half-centuries which is not easy. I am happy with my team's effort.
We would have loved to go further in the tournament so there is disappointment but we would come up better prepared next year.
Women's day has been memorable for us. We won last year against DC and tonight against RCB. We don't mind if we switch to pink from next year."
