It hasn't been the homestretch that UP Warriorz were hoping for. They have been on the receiving end of some thrashing in the two games they have played in their own backyard and now, need to rely on other results to make it to the playoffs. Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, have moved to the second spot on points table with this win. From here on, things will have to go really bad for them to not make it to the next round.
Hayley Matthews (Player of the Match): "I think this is probably the best I have batted in the tournament thus far. I scored another fifty but that was a bit scratchy. We talked about them being a good powerplay side. So we were pretty calm even when they were scoring runs. It was a good pitch to bowl my off spin and later on as the dew came down batting became a lot easier."
