Ashleigh Gardner (POTM & Gujarat Giants Women Captain): "Yeah, very pleased. We weren't much far in the previous game. We spoke about that intent and to come here and execute it and get the win in front of the home crowd is special.
Our bowlers did a fine job. Priya Mishra who is playing just her second game to get the big wickets is really special. Also in the batting, I just carried the confidence from the last game and tried to take it forward.
I feel like I missed the stumps in the first two games. It runs off pretty quickly. I just try to be consistent with the stumps-hitting percentage. Build those dot balls and build the pressure which leads to the wickets.
Everyone has got their own method to batting. For someone like Dottin, she takes her front leg out of the way and hits it. For Deol, she takes a stride forward and lets the ball come to her. Me and Laura try to create a platform for them to finish off the innings and we are very glad that we have got a good depth in our batting line-up."
