And with that, we bring the curtains down on this exciting clash between Lancashire and Derbyshire.

This is me, Hiren Kumar, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Aditya and our scorer and analyst Paras Yadav.

Thank you for joining us. Until next time, it's good night and take care.

Luke Wood: "We were off to great start and it was important to do well with the new ball. I try to execute my plans and thankfully it worked out today. Yeah, the last 2 days have been tiring with back to back games but happy with the win.

Everyone have taken a lot of confidence from the start we have had this season. We have a few more group games left and happy with the result."
10:30PM IST & 06:00PM Local Time | Lancashire move to the top of the points table in the North Group as they beat Derbyshire in a one sided affair by a margin of 42 runs.

Earlier, Derbyshire won the toss and opted to bowl first. Lancashire posted an above par total of 178/6 on the board on the back of Philip Salt (44 off 35 balls) and Liam Livingstone (35 off 23 balls).

Zak Chappell bowled brilliantly and bagged 3 wickets to his name in his quota of 4 overs.

Chasing 179, Derbyshire never kept going. They got off to a worst possible start. Luke Wood from Lancashire breathed fire with the new ball and took 2 wickets in first 2 balls of the innings.

He broke the back of the chase by picking up another wicket 5th over. Wayne Madsen and Brooke Guest steadied the ship with a 34-run stand for the fourth wick before the latter got out.

Chris Green and Luke Wells bagged 3 wickets in the middle overs amongst themselves and did not let the batters settle.

Wayne Madsen departed after scoring his fifty too. In the end, the target was beyond their reach and Lancashire won the match by a margin of 42 runs.

19.6 C Green to Z Chappell
1 Lancashire win by 42 runs! A clinical bowling display from them here. Shorter and on off, Chappell pulls it down to long on for a single to end the over. All smiles in the Lancashire dugout.
19.5 C Green to Z Chappell
4 FOUR! Fuller length ball, on off, Chappell stands tall and drills it straight down the ground towards the right of the bowler for a cracking boundary.
19.4 C Green to R Whiteley
1 Shorter and outside off, chopped away to covers for a single.
