2:07 AM IST, 9:37 PM Local Time: Lancashire have chased down the target of 18 runs. Thanks to Phil Salt and Jos Buttler, they got over the line against Northamptonshire in an away game.
Chasing down the target, the Lancashire side had a troubling start as they lost Keaton Jennings early in the powerplay. However, Salt and Buttler combined in the middle. The duo started off cautiously and then blasted against the Northamptonshire bowlers in the middle phase. They slammed their respective fifties during the 129-run stand for the second wicket.
However, when things were sailing nicely for the chasing side. David Willey used the combo of pace and spin to rattle a tired Buttler on 54.
Soon, they lost Salt on 80 as well, but Liam Livingstone came out to flaunt his lusty hitting. He slammed a quickfire 19, but went down in the penultimate overs. But Luke Wells did the finishing job by smoking two successive sixes in the last overs.

Wells prods low on the front foot and then tonks it over the sightscreen for a biggie. Lancashire have chased down the target by five wickets with three balls to go!
