That's all from today's live coverage of Match no. 73 of T20 Blast 2025 between Somerset and Glamorgan from the Cooper Associates County Ground in Taunton.

I am Gourav Samal, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Sourya Chowdhury and scorer/analyst Asraj Khan. Thanks for joining us and stay tuned for all cricketing updates around the world. Good Night.

Will Smeed, Somerset (crossed 2000 T20 runs for the team): "We always felt we could get over the line. They bowled well towards the end and credit to them, it was a great game. The wicket was a bit slow and it was about adjusting to that. It was good fun (on his innings) but it would have been great to get over the line. We will take the learnings before the game on Sunday. Happy for Leonard for his spell. He is a great mate of mine."

1:57 PM IST and 8:57 PM Local Time | The closely contested match ended with Glamorgan defeating Somerset by just 2 runs to register their sixth win in the season.

After losing the toss and put into bat first, Kiran Carlson and William Smale opened the innings for Glamorgan. They were down to 7/1 in 1.3 over as William lost his wicket for just 1 in 4 balls. Carlson added 14 in 15 balls. Benjamin Kellaway made 29 in 23 balls. When it looked like the team would stumble for a low total, Colin Ingram and Daniel Douthwaite put on a partnership of 49 runs for the 6th wicket. Ingram made 55 in 33 balls and Douthwaite scored 56 in 32 balls to help their team post a total of 176/7 in 20 overs.

For Glamorgan, Matt Henry took 2/15 in 4 overs and Lewis Goldsworthy picked 2/31 in 3 overs. Ben Green(1/24) and Riley Meredith(1/35) grabbed one wicket each in the innings.

Chasing a target of 177 on the board, Tom Banton and Will Smeed opened the innings for Somerset. Banton could only add 12 in 13 balls. Smeed went on to complete his half century as he scored 72 in 49 balls. He was well assisted by Sean Dickson(27) and Ben Green(27) in the middle. No other batter could touch the double figure mark in the innings.

For Glamorgan, Ned Leonard was the pick of the bowlers, who took 5/25 in 4 overs. Jamie McIlroy(1/40), Daniel Douthwaite(1/35) and Andy Gorvin(1/26) took one wicket each in the innings.
