9:44 PM IST, 5:14 PM Local Time: Durham claim a hat-trick of wins with a clinical win against Yorkshire by 6 wickets after a stellar display with the ball from Matthew Potts and a fiery knock from Alex Lees to chase the total down.
Durham won the toss and elected to bowl first with Matthew Potts picking up career-best figures of 5/17 to bundle the hosts out for 128 in 19 overs. James Wharton top scored with 26 for the White Rose who had the services of Jonny Bairstow and Jordan Thompson for the first time this season in T20s.
Durham started cautiously but lost opener Graham Clark (3) in the third over itself as Jack White started off well in the powerplay. Lees however added 36 runs for the 2nd wicket with Ollie Robinson (21), the stand broken by Jafer Chohan in his first over straight after the powerplay.
Dominic Bess got the hosts another breakthrough as Colin Ackermann (6) failed to go big. Lees moved to his 50 in 39 balls and hit 4 fours and a maximum before Jordan Thompson had him caught at mid off with just 6 runs needed to win.
The remainder of the score was knocked off with ease by Will Rhodes (31* off 30) and Jimmy Neesham (5* off 2). Besides White, Jordan Thompson (1/27), Dominic Bess (1/20) and Jafer Chohan (1/14) registered their names in the wickets column with Adam Lyth conceding only 5 runs in his single over.
