That marks the end of our coverage from the 46th match of T20 Blast 2025 between Yorkshire and Warwickshire. Warwickshire have got an important away victory and moved to the fourth position of the points table.

For now, this is Saptak Sanyal signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Akshay Bhide and our scorer/analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. Good night.
1:50 AM IST and 9:20 PM Local Time | Warwickshire have managed to get a massive away victory by 32 runs and this margin will help them to improve their net run rate in the T20 Blast 2025.

Batting first, Warwickshire had a sedate start as they lost Alex Davies cheaply and Tom Latham scored a run-a-ball 24. Dan Mously and Sam Hain got out for cheap scores and once they were down to 98/4. But Ed Barnard had some other plans. He started to go hard at the bowlers and scored 67 runs from 40 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes. Moeen Ali and Kai Smith failed to give him the support and at the 18th over, the scoreboard showed 160/7.

George Garton and Hasan Ali had some other plans. They played a couple of massively important cameos to score runs at a brisk pace. Garton scored 21 from 6 balls and Hasan remained unbeaten on 22 off 8 balls. Danny Briggs hit 2 boundaries to score 10 off 4 balls to take the team score to 205/8.

William O'Rourke took 3 wickets for Yorkshire. Jack White and George Hill both took a couple of wickets for the hosts.

Coming to chase the hefty target of 206, Yorkshire's innings was led from the front by their skipper Dawid Malan. William Luxton hit a few boundaries to score 19 off 8 but Adam Lyth had a horrible struggle in the middle. However, Dawid Malan took on the left arm spin and hit four maximums through the deep midwicket area. But when he found Hasan Ali at short fine leg off Danny Briggs, it ended Yorkshire's hopes. Malan scored a fine 65 off 34 balls with 5 fours and 4 sixes.

James Wharton and Will Sutherland had the onus then. Both of them hit a few boundaries but the disciplined bowling from Yorkshire forced them to play dot balls. Wharton got out for 37 off 32 balls and Sutherland got out for 20. After that, the game became a mere formality and Warwickshire eventually snatched the game away from the home side.

For Warwickshire, Hasan Ali took a couple of wickets. Dan Mousley, Danny Briggs and Moeen Ali took a wicket each.
