2 AM IST & 9:30 PM Local Time: After five defeats on the bounce, Derbyshire bounce back with a thumping win over Nottinghamshire as they secure four points with a 46-run victory. This is also Derbyshire's first win at Trent Bridge since 2013.
Earlier in the game, Derbyshire were put into bat by Nottinghamshire. They had an opening partnership of 61 runs between Caleb Jewell and Aneurin Donald.
Donald made 73 off 34 and handy contributions down the order from Brooke Guest (37* off 24) and Ross Whiteley (35* off 16) took them to 199/5.
Calvin Harrison bagged three wickets while Robert Lord, playing his first T20 game, and Liam Patterson-White all picked up one wicket apiece.
In reply, Nottinghamshire lost Lyndon James in the first over for a duck. Jack Haynes too fell cheaply before Freddie McCann was dismissed in a bizarre fashion as the ball rolled off his body and hit the stumps.
Joe Clarke played a lone hand, scoring 59 off 36 but he had no support from the other hand. Matthew Montgomery made 27 off 19 and Calvin Harrison made 22 off 14 but the hosts could only muster 153/9 from their 20 overs.
Samit Patel bowled a magical spell, picking up three for 14 from four overs. Allah Ghazanfar, Fynn Hudson-Prentice and Pat Brown all chipped in with two wickets each.
Ghazanfar and Brooke Guest were involved in a nasty collision but the Afghan spinner not only came back and bowled his full quota of four overs but fielded for the rest of the game.

Lord shuffles across his off stump and looks to play the ramp but misses and the ball knocks over the middle stump. A 46-run win for Derbyshire as they open their account in this season.
